i live in the neighborhood and often just go in to have a quick look. the staff has always been welcoming. there is a wealth of products so lots to choose from. i am a Senior and looking to minimize my make up routine.

It’s okay! I am a very very loyal Detox customer. I buy all my beauty products and so many gifts from here. I initially started coming here because the staff at the store (on Spadina and union) were so friendly and great. They would go out of their way to give suggestions and great samples whenever I would buy a lot of products. The last time I went, it was a very different experience. I first went to union, but the person at the store didn’t acknowledge me and only spoke with the other customer there. I figured the store was busy so I went to the Spadina location. However it was the same thing, 3 staff working in the store and no one in the store really greeted me and when I asked for help, they ignored me for about 5 minutes talking to eachother. Another thing I loved about detox market was getting samples. This time I didn’t give me a single sample after I spent $300. I definitely feel like the service has changed and it has changed my interest in shopping here. Hopefully the next time I go is different.
