We’ve found the TK-02 to be a significant upgrade to the 01. Water moved to front is a really big deal since it does need frequent refilling. We use the americano and drip functions regularly. While it makes more noise than the 01, the TK is the best option out there for a super automatic.

This is my first espresso machine and I love it. It is easy to clean, and I love the sleek design. It looks pretty in my kitchen. The company has made me a fan for life because they listen to customers and are constantly improving their application.

As an early adopter of the TK-02 coffee maker I was extremely impressed with it. Unfortunately, in time, a couple of error messages popped up. I contacted Terra Kaffe who quickly advised a couple of solutions to remedy the product. Unfortunately, the issue persisted so Terra Kaffe shipped me a new machine. I returned the initial machine, as requested. The new machine is working like it's supposed to and brews great coffee. The overall experience in dealing with Terra Kaffe was outstanding. More companies should strive to provide the same level of support and satisfaction.

We purchased the model 2 after trying - and liking - the machine our daughter had ordered. A bit breathtaking to buy, but it has worked perfectly so far. The OTA update capabilities are a nice addition. Gripes are minor and not related to basic functionality: The milk connection nipple location is awkward / we suggest relocating it for future models. The unit is heavy and when it is placed on the kitchen counter underneath cupboards (likely where most of these things end up) reloading the coffee beans is a tricky business. A design that enabled side loading might solve for that. WiFi connectivity is inconsistent / another

I ordered my TK-02 during the 2023 Pre-Order Sale and waited patiently for 14 months before being surprised with a delivery on Valentine's Day 2024. It was truly love at first sight and the TK-02 exceeded my expectations! It makes tasty cappuccinos and lattes, as well as some impressive drip coffee. The only con is that I wanted more, and my first customization was in doubling all the default espresso drink recipes to two shots with a corresponding doubling of milk volumes. With this doubling, it takes a little longer to make these drinks so I would have preferred a larger tamping/brew kit that could pull 2 shots at a time by default. Unfortunately, this a design limitation because only 1 shot of espresso can be extracted from each espresso puck (the pucks are smaller). The waste container for the espresso pucks also consequently fills up faster with the doubling of espresso shots; only 8 pucks can be held before the machine alerts to emptying the waste container. It would be great if future generations had a larger brew kit that could pull 2 shots per tamping puck and store more waste (i.e. 12 or 14 pucks to get through an entire week). A secondary upgrade would be to allow for a direct water line connection rather than having to fill up the water tank; yet another symptom of wanting more of a great thing!

Definitely an upgrade from the TK-01. The machine is much easier to maintain/clean. The additional coffee brew selections that weren’t available on the TK-01 model are great as well!

I am a former TK-01 owner. I loved my TK-01, but there were things that I would have changed if given the chance. The TK-02 was announced just a year after I bought the TK-01, and I was determined NOT to buy it. But the more that came out about it, the more I started longing for its water tank and waste bin accessible from the front and its fancy app features. So I pre-ordered it and waited for what felt like forever. I am here to tell you, it was worth the wait and every penny. Everything I would have changed was changed. Better milk frothing. Front access to the waste bin and water tank. Bean hopper that allows the beans to flow down to the grinder without having to push them manually. And best of all - easier to clean with no need to remove the brew unit for cleaning. They literally thought of everything, and I have zero regrets!

I love my TK-02! The machine itself is easy and user friendly. The over the air updates have been fantastic and they truly have listened to all of the consumers requests!

The TK2 has enhanced my at home coffee experience tenfold. It’s very user friendly, almost intuitive, and easy to program to your specific needs. I actually look forward to each morning now!

after two months, the machine bricked during a firmware update TerraKaffe shipped out a new machine the next day and we were up and running in less than 48 hours. Awesome customer service.

We can now tailor our morning coffee to our tastes NOT Sta*%#ks or “Keurig”. Honestly, coffee lovers do not realize what they missing…. All in the comfort of their homes ( and jammies). Best Americano I have ever had!

Skip the coffee shop!! Had the TK02 for just shy of two months and love it. Everyone in the house stopped for coffee just about every morning previously, right now we’re two months into TK use and I grabbed a coffee traveling only. The machine is amazing, easy to use and super quick. Only downside is that we wish the water tank was larger along with the drip tray.

We waited for the TK-02 for 9 months and it was worth the wait. We are loving it so far.

I was very pleased with my TK 1, but I am over the top with the TK 2. I love the drip brew feature. A cup of drip with a shot of expresso is a great way to start the day. I also enjoy the flat white. My wife loves the latte.

With great customer support, got my TK02 earlier than expected. It is sleek and contemporary outlook. The software design is easy to get used to after several days trial. The downside I see is the relatively smaller water tank because the machine does a lot of auto cleaning/flushing as well as a little longer warming time when you turn on the machine. The coffee tastes great and stronger in each coffee it delivers, but you can adjust the water or milk as it fits you.

I have been waiting so long for this machine…not just from a pre-order sense but also from a “this thing is so amazing” standpoint too! The industrial design team did a great job, UI is clean and consistent from machine to phone, and the suite of sensors and user guidance is amazing. My coffee routine is elevated to a whole new level of interaction and exploration…thank you TK team!

We’ve been extremely happy with the TK-O2. Love having “Mama’s Latte and Dad’s Americano” ☕️ on tap! Comes with everything we need for the perfect brew every time!

I would start by saying that I was very close to giving this machine 5 stars except that it has one shortcoming that I just could not overlook. I would also add that this is the first super-auto espresso machine I have owned so others may also have the same issue (TK support staff hinted the same in response). But more on that in a bit. Everything from the unpacking to initial set up was effortless, and you can see that a lot of thought was put into the experience. It's an ultra-modern looking machine, so if you're looking for that gleaming chrome and painted metal look of classic Italian espresso machines, this is definitely not it. But it's simple design also lets blend in almost any home decor. I opted for the white model due to the color of our kitchen. The fit and finish of the moving components is top-notch. Back to the setup--it was extremely quick and easy. The mobile app was even simpler to set up and use (it also configures the WiFi settings on the TK-02). Priming the TK-02 didn't take very long either and I was brewing an espresso within minutes. Before the TK-02, I only owned a grind and brew coffee maker and went out almost daily for an afternoon espresso. My wife was skeptical about the TK-02 being able to fully replace a machine that can make a full pot of coffee. But two things happened: one was that the drip coffee setting makes an excellent cup of coffee, and two, even though it takes a couple of minutes to make a full cup, we realized that at the end of the day we are wasting a lot less coffee. (We almost were always dumping out 1-2 cups of left-over coffee from the pot daily.) About that espresso...wow. I have not had the desire to go to a coffee shop for a coffee drink since I received the TK-02. It is that good. I am also fortunate to live in a city that loves coffee and has many local roasters that produce incredible coffee. I'm in love with my TK-02, in addition to being my personal barista it makes my kitchen look even more beautiful, I love that my guests are amazed by all the drinks I can make. I'm the best hostess.
