Just completed a Newfoundland and Labrador trip. 11 days, 4000 km on a dr650. Camping and cooking the whole time. Needless to say I had to pack light and bring only the necessities. My tenkara rod fit no problem, and barely took up any space. Landed 4 brook trout which kept morale high during a rainy, cold trip.

Took my new sierra rod on a trip through the airport in my carry-on to Spokane and did some urban fishing between sessions just outside the convention center on the Spokane river. My 11yr old son and I both caught small trout in the shallows. The tube kept my rod safe from through the airports.

The cork handle is thin and not made to withstand normal fishing, would need to pay to ship it back for replacement. Should not happen on a nearly $200 fishing pole

Never buy anything from this bordering fraud company. I received half the sections of the pole I bought and they didn’t respond to multiple emails and calls. Only after complaining on social media did I get a response. Shipped it back to the return address in their site and they returned to sender. Finally did get a refund, but they have the worse customer service I’ve ever seen. It’s pretty much non existent. Let the buyer beware.

Bought in early May, still have yet to get to use because of stuck pieces, lost pieces and broken pieces. Minimal to no instruction on how to use were provided, so I’d encourage anyone looking to learn this new form of fishing to do VERY careful research on how to not just learn the technique, but simple things like open rod, close rod, etc. I’m several hundred bucks in at this point (flies, line, broken rod pieces, etc) and I’ve yet to wet the line. I’ve contacted the company and they’ve put the responsibility on me. So do your research early and follow all instructions to the T. Turns out this simple form of fishing isn’t necessarily that simple after all.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough to warrant one. I ordered a White Cloud full kit over two months ago, and even though it arrived on time, it contained the wrong size line spool in the kit. I immediately contacted customer service, and it took them a few days just to respond. When they finally did, their reply seemed helpful and I provided all of the requested information. Then it became a waiting game on my part. It has now been 10 weeks and the correct line spool has not been delivered. I have sent multiple emails and am no longer getting a response from anyone. This is absolutely ridiculous considering it was their mistake. No apology, no urgency, and no clear path to getting what I actually ordered. I'm still waiting. I'm at the point where I just want to send back the unused rod and kit and move on. Terrible experience from start to finish. I won't be shopping here again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Sorry that my Teton tip could not be replaced and that I had to purchase a Sawtooth tip for a replacement.
