Unfortunately, I have not had a positive experience with purchasing replacement parts for both my White Cloud and Sawtooth Rod. After making two separate orders my rods are still out of commission because the replacement parts are incorrect or out of stock.

Had an issue with my order no fault of Tenkara Rod Company but their expeditious and timely response to get back to me and resolve my problem was superb and that says a lot about their customer care, philosophy and business acumen and that is outstanding. Thank you, Pat

Seem like nice guys, but I haven't even been able to use this pole cuz. I accidentally broke it when I was showing it to my dad. The second section from the tip accidentally hit it on a chair and broke it. . And so I ordered a part online, and was sent the wrong part. . asked them nicely to send me the correct one. And they won't do it. insisted that I send them the entire Pole back to them. Why would you even have a section on your website Saying you can buy spare parts. . we both know what Pole I bought. And exactly which part of the section of the Pole that I need replaced. So why would it be difficult to just send me the correct part? Especially after I was sent the wrong part. .

I like the rods, but customer service has never gotten back to me the 3 times I've reached out about numerous things.

They substituted a 13' line for a 16' line without asking if that would be an acceptable substitute. It takes days to hear back from customer service and they only seem to exist to tell you that they're very sorry for any inconveniences. Once they do reply, they're incapable of using proper spelling and punctuation until they decide to use AI for a reply. I will never order from this company again.
