I rarely write reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough to warrant one. I ordered a White Cloud full kit over two months ago, and even though it arrived on time, it contained the wrong size line spool in the kit. I immediately contacted customer service, and it took them a few days just to respond. When they finally did, their reply seemed helpful and I provided all of the requested information. Then it became a waiting game on my part. It has now been 10 weeks and the correct line spool has not been delivered. I have sent multiple emails and am no longer getting a response from anyone. This is absolutely ridiculous considering it was their mistake. No apology, no urgency, and no clear path to getting what I actually ordered. I'm still waiting. I'm at the point where I just want to send back the unused rod and kit and move on. Terrible experience from start to finish. I won't be shopping here again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Sorry that my Teton tip could not be replaced and that I had to purchase a Sawtooth tip for a replacement.

It was normal. My enthusiasm for patting you repeatedly on the back is that my rod tips keep breaking and somehow they are never replaceable, or your process becomes so byzantine that i give up. I own three rods, i buy line, you get my money. But please stop begging for reviews and acting like your customer service is anything but normal
I have been emailing without any response. Buyers remorse. Is this a scam ? I'm beginning to think so. especially when you are ignored.

Why am I being asked to write a second review?
I bought a rod from Tenkara Rod Co. and had a completely awful experience with their customer support. I had an issue with my rod and needed to exchange it so I sent it back as per instructions from the Customer support team, but things went completely downhill from there. After I shipped the rod back, the emails went completely quiet, I did not receive a refund, nor my rod back and the company stopped responding to my emails. I sent some 15 emails during a period of 4 months, but was not receiving any responses. The company does have a total disregard for their customers. I did eventually get my rod back after many months, written emails and time wasted and as a result, I would never shop with this company again. Please just make yourself a favor and shop with Tenkara USA. .

Second Tenkara rod purchased. Very happy with quality of the Rocky (and previously the Sawtooth. Imagine the Rocky would fish well but haven’t tried it. Ordered full kit in December and still waiting to receive the line, flies etc. Have emailed repeatedly and feel like I’m getting nowhere. Maybe this will get some attention. Happy to amend to 5 stars when I receive what I paid for. It’s more than an issue of principle. It’s impossible to get furled lines or any Tenkara gear in Australia. Use the rods for freshwater bass and saltwater species. Look forward to using the Rocky. Please resolve this 😁
Company never delivered product. They then proceeded to ignore all contact.
