very good, pretty stable when doin back extension and no problem when doing back extensions with weight. wish it was just as stable when doing dips Great for back pain if doing isometric holds, about 8 inch max height when collapsed.

This is my third purchase from Sunny, Health & Fitness and I have always been happy with their equipment. While the bike itself is fine, the handle bars that I'm supposed to get a great upper body workout with, are so far away, they do me no good whatsoever. I thought they were adjustable, but apparently I misread that. The only recumbent bike with adjustable handle bars appears to be the most expensive one. Why on earth would any of the bikes with these types of handle bars NOT be adjustable? I have long legs and so in order for me to get close enough to use them, my knees will end up by my chest when cycling. Assembling this recumbent bike was no picnic for my husband. One of the cables threading through the handle bar post was stuck halfway through the post and after working on it for several hours last night, he was unable to bring it all the way through. Quality Control certainly missed this one! This morning my husband was finally able to get the cable to dislodge from whatever it was stuck on; it literally took him half a day. I regret that I didn't just get the bike without any handle bars and am going to be contacting SH&F on Monday to see if we can rectify this. I am hopeful we can come up with a solution. I love my treadpad and mini-stepper and really want to love this recumbent bike, too!

After calling and telling my problem with peddle on bike was treated like I did not know how to put it on! Was told I had to tighten nut very very tight , well no ____ ! told the lady the threads strip out when you do that . Do not buy any item unless you want to have to make all your own parts to fix!!!
