After trying 7 other masks over my first 9 months of therapy I ordered the BLEEP Eclipse. There was a mixup in my order and I first received the BLEEP DreamPort. I didn’t realize it at first, and started using what I was shipped. I can now say I’ve tried both and actually love both of them!!! Both models are SO much better than using a mask with head gear! No face mask lines or hair lines in the morning. For me, this is critical as I experience face pain with other masks and the BLEEP masks eliminated that. If I had to choose one model over the other it would be the Eclipse as it is easier to attach the hose to the adhesive, but the DreamPort isn’t hard to attach either, just different.
They are different than other masks, and I’ve tried multiple other brands including nasal masks, full face and total face masks. Today is 5/18 and I started using these on 4/26. I’ve had the best numbers on my ResMed MyAir Report since the 26th! It’s amazing the difference. I’ve finally reached 100%!! My Practitioner knows I’ve been struggling and has monitored my success with these. She called and was elated at my new numbers!
Yes, it takes a new adjustment because they are different than other masks. Yes, you need a hose holder to reduce the pull on your face. But all are worth it!
I have even been able to use my adhesives for 2 nights in a row and still get a full seal both nights. But, I’d still be sold if I had to switch adhesives every night (as recommended)
