I ordered the horizontally set, oval-cut Lippy ring in 14k yellow gold with a 1 ct. natural diamond in G color and VS2 clarity. Excellently cut & radiant with brilliant sparkle! It is *EXACTLY* what I hoped for and more! The very slight wait was well worth the perfect customization. Also, I was kept regularly updated throughout my order. Pricing is competitive, especially for the magnificent turn-out quality. I know online shopping for such assets can garner apprehension, but Ken & Dana evidenced without a doubt their 5-star worthiness. My ring is absolutely stunning. However, I have struggled to get it sized accordingly. My fiancé ordered a 5. 5. The ring delivered measured at 4. 75. When I asked customer service about the size difference, they explained “ The sizing mandrel in the photo you shared is used for a traditional circular ring. On that mandrel, you'll find negative space between the ring, which means that while it sits on the 4. 75 mark - it does not sit flush on it. If you were to remove all that negative space between the rope band and the mandrel, the ring would fall on size 5. 5. So, if Todd requested a 5. 5, we did the work to ensure it is! I assure you - we designed your piece to a 5. 5!”. I trusted this explanation and sent it back for resizing because my knuckle doesn’t adjust to negative space very well. The ring they sent back now measures at a 5 and is still uncomfortable. There was no follow up after receiving the resize. Just discomfort and a callous on my finger. I visited with a local jeweler today that shared in my frustration and promised to make the ring fit correctly. I am beyond disappointed to have such a beautiful ring that doesn’t fit right.
