The ones that were alive were great, however it seemed as though nearly half the oysters in this latest order were bad when I shucked them (wholly brown).

Shipping process was great but oysters were very small

I have ordered from island creek for years and have never had an issue with shipping, service or value. I would have submitted a video or pictures but no one was able to capture a photo or video for me, alas.

Good tracking and easy to order. I did not know that I was ordering really small oysters. Not sure if larger ones were even available.

We had a power outage in Vail, and all the grocery stores had to throw away their food. Luckily we had ordered Island Creek the day before and we've been feasting for days.

Living in northern Minnesota, we give up a lot of great ocean-coast experiences. . . but Island Creek lets us have the best of both worlds. There's nothing like pontooning out to a sheltered inland lake campsite in the boreal forest to shuck oysters, sip champagne, and load up the chips with trout roe and Top the Tater (the Minnesota way!). Love the option to mix and match oysters from different farms; it's a marvel how they all differ in flavor (each delightful in their own way!).
