I was on the fence about whether or not Cam Lock Support bases with tailored poles would meet my needs. Both items had links to videos which were "how to" in nature and gave examples of scenarious for using these products. Video links were provided for each product. Watching them convinced me these were just what I needed.

Sailrite has a ton of materials and how to videos hosted on a state of the art website but it still feels like an old fashioned business where you know the people and they genuinely want to help you.

Technically, your website is easy to browse, efficient. It works well. But when you are not a native speaker ( I'm French), things are a little bit more difficult. You may know what you are looking for but it is not easy to find what is the correct translation (for technical vocabulary, Google traduction is not very smart). Or you know what you want to do but you don't know exactly which stuff will do the job. Having a global look on two/three pages of catalog made things easier. I fully understand why you don't publish anymore a paper catalog. But a PDF catalog (which doesn't exist if I'm not wrong) will probably help. Another good reason for a PDF catalog. At sea, offshore, you may not have Internet. But you may want to prepare the next order. Not possible without Internet. Possible if a PDF Catalog has been downloaded and saved on your computer.

Shopping at Sailrite is so easy; as the website is very user friendly. I would recommend their kits, fabric, sewing machines and notions.

Easy to navigate. Found it almost immediately when I typed skiving knife. I just needed 1 day to think if I wanna pay that much for the knife. Once I made the decision - it was click buy and pay up. Now waiting anxiously for it to arrive for me to start using it.
