Very informative videos, prompt order fulfillment. I was assured this could be done on a home sewing machine. However, the #126988 thread is on a huge spool that doesn't fit on my 1960s Elna spool holder. Can't proceed til I figure out what to do. My fabric 3027626 would not load up on online order, so had to phone the order in. The lady who answered was courteous and quick. My four items arrived almost exactly as was predicted.

The sailrite web site is easy to navigate and find what I need. I did find on this order that the video showing how to make a pontoon boat cover mentions that Surlast fabric was used but you apparently do not sell that brand anymore. I ordered surerite fabric as it looked pretty similar in specs and cost.

After about 5 minutes of searching, I found that I had to be very specific about what I was looking for. I need cord locks for roman shades. I typed in "cord locks" but only got 4 results of items I didn't need. Some websites only need a key word to show results of various products relating to what you are looking for.

I'm new to sewing heavier materials. So, I was looking for information on what threads to use. SAILRITE has a chart for threads and uses. I order a variety of colors in the weight I need according to the chart.
