Ordered a vault door and the keypad/lock stopped working the next day! Safe and Vault store pawned me off to the manufacturer who pawned me off to the lock company. After 45 minutes on hold with the manufacturer they are sending me a replacement keypad and lock BUT! They are telling me I have to take the door apart and replace the locking mechanism inside the door. I am not a safe technician, locksmith, etc. If you sell a product and it is under full warranty you should stand by the product and fix every aspect of it, not tell the customer they have to take it apart and fix it themselves. I had a number of options when purchasing this vault door. I chose safe and vault store because the website says “family owned. ” I like to support independent business when I can instead of buying from Cabelas/BPS, etc. In this case, that has proven to be a mistake. If I cannot get it resolved, my only recourse is to dispute it with my card company, but I’m still left with a non functioning lock and a repair that I either have to figure out or pay a locksmith to fix. Not good business practice!!

Safe manufactures website says made in Florida. Packaging says made in Korea. Safe and vault store says it probably means the packaging was made in Korea. Extra packaging for $40 consisted of a couple thin layers of foam and a slightly larger extra box. Waste of money.

Delivery was very fast. I chose this one over others because of the weight of the safe. If you don’t bolt it down very difficult to walk off with it. Apple room for many items.

Delivery options are lacking. It’s an extremely heavy item and customers should not be on their own to place it in their houses.

Besides the safe being damaged when we opened the box I did call and emailed the company asking them whether the safes fireproof reading would be compromised due to the hole at the bottom of the safe, if we don’t bolt it down. They did respond quickly by email and by telephone.

The quality of the product and the customer support were excellent. The shipping of the mirror was a little slow, however it was ordered around the holidays which is understandable. I highly recommend all around.
