These are the best. We have purchased several of these in the past but a few months ago I got a rug pad from big box hardware because I needed it under a runner before a guest arrived. That one lasted only a couple days before it was letting the rug migrate all over the place. Just swapped out for these rug pads and it was immediately better. The rugs just look better and they stay perfect. And the custom size is so convenient and accurate. Just perfect in every way.

The rug pad I had didn't work very well. I replaced with one of these and no more moving rug! What was a safety issue is now solved.

I bought the pad for a rug to go on top of a carpet. It is better but still has bumps.

One of the two pads I bought is working well, but it is in the middle of the room. The other, which is covered on one end by a large dresser continues to buckle. While the buckling isn’t as severe, the pad did not alleviate the problem as promised.

I bought a Contour-Lock rug pad for a 4x6 rug on a hardwood floor. Delivery was quick and the pad is very nice. It does move a little on the floor, but to be fair I knew this was a possibility from the product description and reviews. It does provide good cushioning and overall I am very satisfied with the pad. I would buy it again.
