You know it when you hold it—this brush was crafted by hand with care and attention to details. I love that. If I can purchase something that was made by a person and not a machine, a family and not a giant corporation—I will. This is a family business that takes pride in their craft. Every single brush I have purchased I still own and use, and I have many. I love ordering new ones but I still love using the old ones. And I love receiving that lovely package in the mail (post). Even the way they package your order is beautiful. They usually include a nice sticker and sometimes even a “free” brush. I will keep on ordering as long as they keep doing what they are doing—creating brushes with excellence.

Rosemary & Co has quickly become my number-one source for artist brushes. Their website is refreshingly easy to navigate, and I especially appreciate how simple they make it to add multiple sizes of the same brush to your cart; no unnecessary clicking back and forth. Packaging is thoughtful, shipping has always been excellent, and then there’s the catalogue. As a Canadian of a certain vintage, receiving a Rosemary & Co catalogue feels a little like the grown-up artist version of getting the Sears Christmas Wish Book as a child. I may not be circling toys anymore, but I’m definitely circling brushes. Excellent brushes, excellent service, and an all-around lovely buying experience.
