I enjoy my rabbit preserver, but it irritates me that you can't buy the square vacuum stoppers individually. I need more than two stoppers but can't find them for sale, stand alone, anywhere online.

I have had my "Rabbit" for all of 7 months. I may open a bottle of wine every two weeks. I was really pleased with the corkscrews performance in the beginning. Now, it barely holds a charge and comes to a complete stop before the cork is out of the bottle. For the price I paid for this item (65.00),I certainly will not be replacing it with another one! Why would I??? I don't believe I got 65.00 worth of use out of it!! Pretty looking, flashy, looks nice on my kitchen counter but that is not what I bought if for. So, my recommendation to anyone thinking about buying one of these cheap, probably Made in China corkscrews, look for something more reliable!! Right now I am using my trusty manual corkscrew. Hasn't let me down yet! And, no, I did not buy this direct. I bought mine on Amazon.

My 2nd of these wine openers bit the dust. They replaced the first one free, however I still paid $65 for the first one. In looking at these reviews I see there is a problem with their wine opener. Sad, too bad there is not a quarter of one star becasue that is what I would give them. Contacting customer support was useless as it was deflect and blame game. It is out of warranty, so is my car but it still works! Buyer beware dont buy this wine opener!

This gadget might seem like a fancy way to ditch the manual corkscrew, but let me tell you, it's a short-lived fling that will leave you feeling cheated. Apparently, a year and a half is the magic lifespan for a Rabbit. Their warranty wouldn't even cover a toddler's nap, let alone the promised longevity of a quality appliance. The cheerful robot on their website suddenly felt like a cruel caricature. Unless you enjoy throwing away money on fleeting electronic fancies, then by all means, be my guest. But for the rest of us who expect our appliances to last longer than a fruit fly's lifespan, there are far better options out there.

I have now purchased 3 electric openers. The foil cutters never seemed to work. Each of the openers lasted two years or less and I don't open that many bottles with corks. Disappointing to have to continue to buy a product that doesn't have troubleshooting or repair options. I would return the latest one to Costco but I don't want to burden them with a loss.
