Being able to play social bridge with a far away friend is a treat. My only regret is I can’t play long due to live duplicate at one of my clubs on Mondays. It is a nice way to meet other Breakfast Club members. .

I am ever amazed at how Donna is able to teach all levels of abilities at the same time and keep all engaged. She truly is a master teacher. Her free Breakfast Club is such a generous offering to the bridge world. She is branching out now in so many other ways as well, with the RealBridge games as well as her new subscription lessons. She is a marvel and doing so much toward promoting bridge to all.

Monday morning Social Bridge is a great way to start the week. Connect with players both in the US and Europe on Real Bridge. Enjoy live audio and video as you play challenging hands. You can play as long as your schedule permits. Donna also provides an analysis of two hands each week for review. The UK Director Shirene is very helpful.

Donna has a lesson for every question I've had. Her lessons are concise but thorough. I especially like her "big ideas" highlighting the most important points. Try one, you'll be hooked.

…and I’m having so much fun! I’ve been a student of Audrey Grant (books & online classes) for a couple of years but Donna’s Breakfast Club and the opportunity to play online using RealBridge on Mondays is adding new skills to my game. Donna can teach beginners and advanced students at the same time, and as a former corporate trainer, I can tell you this is a difficult skill to master. I don’t always understand everything in every lesson but I pick up new techniques every day and now, after about a month, it is a necessary part of my morning routine. From the some of the questions she fields through Zoom and chat, I can tell that some of ‘Clubbers’ are playing 3-D Chess to my Checkers but I don’t feel overwhelmed and I can tell that my game (and confidence) is improving with every mini-lesson. I’ve purchased a couple of seminars on specific techniques and those have been well done, also. Shoutout to the support staff that handles that part of the program-very responsive and helpful.

Donna gives a detailed explanation of direct and indiret raises by opener. Emphasis is on natural bidding and excellent explanations of invitational bids and reverses and game forcing bids! Delayed 2 level invitational and 3 level game forcing!

I purchased this course from Donna and I've been impressed with how Donna takes complicated rubrics and transforms them into structured logical ways to learn new skills.

Donna is a fantastic teacher. She is methodical and has answers for all your bridge questions. She presents a new hand every morning in breakfast club with either a declarer puzzle or a defensive situation or both. I have been playing for many years and have learned so much from her approach regarding how to think about a hand, especially defensively.

To those reading this, you've found the best learning site that currently exists. My wife and I have met/taken lessons from many of the names you know over the years. Donna is the best. Her breakfast club focuses on 1 challenging hand from a bidding, play and defensive standpoint. She tears it apart. Examines all the pieces and then puts it back together. By the end of the session, you have a real understanding of how to elevate your game to the next level. And she does this all while mixing in real life stories and humor to keep it interesting. We asked her earlier in the year how best to prepare for the National pairs championships. She suggested taking her "Become a Better Defender" course on PBB. It's excellent! Everyone focuses on bidding, but you are defending 50% of the time. The course analyzes the "WHY" behind what we've all been told about defense. If you're like me, I need to understand the reason for doing something. Trite cliches like "Lead the second card down from a broken sequence," is meaningless without the reason for doing it. Donna gives you the reason. Here's to becoming a better player.

Donna Compton's PBB Breakfast Club is the best possible way for a bridge lover to start their day. It's extradinary that she offers such a fantastic daily lesson that is open to everyone! Since I started viewing these lessons, I hate to miss any of them! Donna's teaching style allows for a wide range of skill levels. She gives excellent explanations of whatever topic is being discussed and she welcomes all questions and answers them.

I could not have learned all the concepts that Donna taught in her courses by just playing the game.
