The retail experience here isn't just about buying into paddlesports, it’s about being welcomed into the family. Your money can go far here in both competitive pricing and the knowledge gained when dealing with a trained staff of paddlesport experts. There is great satisfaction in supporting a company who is so heavily invested in the community they serve.

I have been using the
I have been using the company for years. I have purchased two fishing kayaks there. The team is outstanding on service. Extremely knowledgable. Down to pulling kayaks out to let you sit on them and answer each question you have specifically. They have also repaired both of my kayaks that I have been rough on. The Farmville store is the best in my opinion because it is the warehouse. If you have any questions stop by there and ask. They will stop what they are doing to be most helpful.

Was a longtime loyal customer
Was a longtime loyal customer to ARC. Called one day at 4:50 (10 minutes before they close) just to ask if they had a particular boat in stock. The guy that answered the phone kept saying hello, hello and then says we close in 10 minutes and and hung up. It was obvious he could hear me and just didn't want to deal with a customer so close to closing time..... This place used to care about the customer, but the new management only cares about taking your money and running with it.

I have been a customer of Appomattox River Company for many years. This place is amazing. There is no better selection of paddle fun. I appreciate that the staff treats everyone the same, whether your a whitewater fanatic, slow and go paddler, or new to being on the water. Also to mention, they do an annual demo day where they have their suppliers come out to a lake where you can test out anything you want-free! I can’t say enough great things about aka PaddleVA!

The best customer service, the largest selection of kayaks, they repair, they deliver and they have an awesome demo day if you just want to try everything before you buy! I have purchased 3 kayaks for myself, ordered for shipment one for a friend, and brought friends and came home with a truckload. There are no better options that I know of anywhere near here! I was disappointed in the kayaks that I found at retail stores. I now have high quality, comfortable and fun kayaks! Highly recommend!

I had an awesome experience
I had an awesome experience with these guys today. My wife purchased an Old Town Predator 13 for me for Christmas. I traveled from a couple counties away. The guys there were GREAT, especially Spencer. I'm new to kayak fishing and needed some accessories. I went to the right place, that's for sure. I have NO problem recommending them!
