Love the Slicer - but it has a design flaw. We've had one of these for a good while, then my wife said the wire wasn't staying tight. I took a look at it, and found the plastic adjusting wheel had cracked. That kept it from gripping the threaded end of the (replaceable) slicing wire. OXO's Customer Service was outstanding. I asked about a repair, and they sent a new one very quickly, and sent regular updates on the status of the replacement. The new one is identical to the broken one - that's both good and bad. The replacement wires are the same (not that we've ever changed one!), but the slicer retains the plastic adjusting wheel. So I fear it's only a matter of time before I go through the drill again.
