I very much appreciate the repair kit replacement. The flexible clear tape is very nice and is holding on my front folds.

My Oru Lake Sport arrived a few days after I ordered it. It was easy to learn how to set it up and to refold. I couldn't believe how light it is! It really did keep me dry inside and was easy to paddle. Although, the lightness of the boat and the flatness of the hull did make tracking a little more difficult in the wind. The skeg did help some.

Great product I hope to spend a lot more time with.

I’ve always loved kayaking, both whitewater and flat water , but don’t get to go regularly because storing a kayaking is challenging and I don’t have a car with a roof rack. Since getting my Oru Coast, I’ve been kayaking weekly on the river. I also look forward to kayaking the marshes and coastal areas when we head to the beach. It fits into my trunk easily and I can now assembly it in 15 minutes and disassemble it in less than 10 minutes. I assembled and disassemble the first time at home, which I highly recommend, and things went very smoothly when I went to the river the first time. The instruction video is excellent but watch it carefully a few times to get all the tips. Despite being portable, it is a high performance kayak which tracks very well and is both fast and stable. It is very well constructed and I expect it to last many years. I strongly suggest ordering the gel seat and gel back as this makes it even more comfortable. I strongly recommend the Oru Coast without reservation and hope you have a great time on the water.

I would give Oru minus stars if I could. Read my product review and see why. I still have not received my paddle. I received my kayak without the paddle. I have tried to call Oru 3 times and get a message the phones aren't working. I have emailed Oru 3 times and have not received a reply. I started a dispute with Mastercard. Awful customer service!!

Consistently horrible and no human interaction with issues I had. Your shipping to Alaska is nonexistent.

Don't have the gear

I set out in search of a portable scull and landed on an Oru kayak. Why? The seemingly impossible portability and speed of assembly and dis-assembly. I've been out a dozen times now, and this morning I ran a stop watch: Just under four-and-a-half minutes to go from bag to water-ready, just a few ticks above three minutes to go back to bag -- and trunk -- ready. Yes, I can see doing these faster, but it's not a race for me. It's the convenience. None of which would matter if not for this: I'm happier on the water and for the rest of the day than I have been in a long time. This is an escape from routine, and interruptions, and the demands of the day. And all of that is because my Oru kayak works in every regard beyond assembly and dis-assembly. Paddling and sometimes just floating, visiting the ducks and occasional egret. Amazing how quickly life transforms as soon as I push off from shore.
