Oru is a great company to work with

We have owned two Bay kayaks for more than five years. We recently purchased a Haven kayak. The Haven is easy to assemble and the weight is acceptable. I purchased a longer paddle to avoid dripping water into the Haven since it is about eight inches wider than the Bay.

Learning to assemble and disassemble were not as difficult as I feared. The on-line video (YouTube) was very helpful. Love the kayak.

Perfect companion to a our kayak

The Oru Kayak arrived sooner than it was supposed to arrive. The written instructions were accurate, and the video was helpful. However, the instructional video for Set-up for the Lake Sport was missing some information because the video was for the "Lake", and not for the "Lake Sport". There was no specific instructional video for the Lake Sport, which has a couple extra features, including the footrest.

I never received all the items I ordered and it’s difficult to talk to customer service. I’m still waiting on a PFD and kayak accessory I ordered a month ago.

There's been a break in period to get up and running with my second hand Oru kayak. Finding proper gear has made this flow. I'm enjoying lakes in the high Sierras, CA

After one use: I like that its light and portable. I had fun with it. Could use a option to mount a cup holder, but it worked out pretty well without one. I loved having my backpack right behind my seat. .

my order of a replacement seat back and wedge arrived outside my door complete and undamaged, however, the entire cardboard box was kind of deconstructed around it and the pieces were out in the open. I have no idea what happened but glad it made it from the west coast to the east more or less intact!
