Out of stock forever but finally delivered

When restoring classic cars people expect to pay a bit more for parts. Our hope is that they are available. The El Camino shares many common parts with the Caballero but some are different. The gear shift selector assembly on the Caballero is different and many sites list them as compatible. The difference being the El Camino uses two round gage housings. One for the speedometer the other for the oil, coolant and alternator gages. Some Base El Caminos and the Caballero vehicles also have one rectangular speedometer housing and three warning lights instead of gages. Since the housings are different the gear shift selectors are different. Took ordering the part from three sellers to find none were the correct part. Do you have the ability to correctly identify and provide a part number so I can purchase one. The part number on my broken selector is 25018404 if that is helpful. Surely would like a response to move forward on my restoration.

When selecting items to order the cost did not include shipping, so I was a little surprised when I checked out. But the tank is a large item to ship.

Initially the parts were on back order, but I called and they were in stock. OPGI updated my order and shipped the items, no problems. If what you order is on back order I recommend calling after a few days, there's a good chance the parts may be available.
