I love these shoes! They are very comfortable for being brand new, but will be even better with a little breaking in. I normally wear a US Women's 9. 5, but I ordered a 9 in this because I plan on wearing them without socks and I have found that Solovairs run a little bit large. The 9 worked great for me. I agree with a lot of the reviewers who said the only downside is that the strap is WAY too short. My boyfriend had to make extra holes in the strap.

Good company but the insoles were not what I had expected. They didn't seem any better in the boots than any average Dr. Scholl's insole that can be purchased in most stores.

Absolutely amazing quality. I purchased the base 8 eye Derby Boots a couple of months ago and in comparison I like the steel-toe’s version more. As expected, the steel-toe helps it keep its structure better and I really like the sole, it gives the whole boot a more rugged look. The leather quality is top notch, there are minimal creases even after bending the boot during daily activities, and the finishing in the material looks stunning. Based on the comments I decided to size down on my previous purchase. I own a pair of Redwood Timberland boots and I’m a size US 8. 5 in those. They feel roomy so I decided to size down on my first 8 Eye Derby Boots. They fit okay but a little tight while I walk and they push my toes back as I do; so, on the steel-toe iteration, I decided to go with my usual size US 8. 5 and they feel much better. I’d say is safer to compare sizing with the boots that you already own, since both boots I’ve purchased from Solovair are true to size. Specially on the steel-toe version, which will not break in and will not give way if your toes hit the edge of the boot. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone. The delivery time was much faster than my previous purchase, and I’m really satisfied withe the service as a whole.

The boots arrived sooner than expected, the box was slightly crushed but I suspect that was from the closing the lid on my package drop box on my porch, product was exactly as expected.

I would give them 4. 5 stars if I could. Rounded up… Pro: look great, steel toe, sick screws in the soles Con: steel toes don’t break in, per se so my weird feet make my big toe rub the toe box, soles are very squeaky. If the shoe version becomes available I will probably order a pair of them. Customer service is excellent
