These boots, while still quite new, seem very well made. They're attractive and look like the online images. I went a half-size down (from 8. 5 US women's to 8), which fits me ok with regular/thin cotton socks, but is quite tight with double or thick socks (for breaking in purposes). I found these to be especially tight in the toe area, and the part that goes over the top of my foot where my foot bend when I walk is also tight, making for a somewhat unpleasant breaking-in process. I'm not sure if the fit would have been better with my usual size - they don't feel "too small," exactly - just tight in certain areas. I expect these to soften up with time, but as other reviews have mentioned, they aren't super comfy right out of the box. That said, they're nice boots, and if they become more comfortable with time, I will be a very happy customer.

Love my shoes

Fantastic boots as expected. Top notch quality in shipping and customer service. This is my third pair and I love all of them. My ONLY caveat is the sizing, since I have high arches their recommendation of a half size down did not work for me. I ended up half size up and they are hair looser but still fit well. I put an insert in and they are great. Next pair I will purchase a true size 10. 5 and see how that goes.
