I'v used Bolloms Nitrostain Brown Oak as a basic stain for 40+ years in my restoration business, but they're now defunct, so. . . I rang you to ascertain which of your 'Oak' Nitrostains, or others, would be the best match. Despite a promise, I was not rung back: Nieither did anyone reply to the 3 E-mails I then sent you. Lastly, I went to my local 'Brewers' outlet to see if they could help. Funnily enough they didn't seem at all surprised by your lack of communication, and described you as "unhelpful', at least at that branch. Given the number of restoration products and businesses that have disappeared from the market place, it really is not at all helpful when one of the remaining is so apparently dismissive of their actual and potential customer base. I would have given you no stars, but my order arrived promptly, and WITH a receipt, which is rare now days, so I gave you 2 stars for that. I have to say I was also somewhat surprised at your prices, but. . . . Cheers. John

Love Mylands usually but on this occasion I had an item missing (undercoat) from my order so a little bit annoying. Thankfully my painter wasn’t turning up this week so it wasn’t going to affect the work but even so it’s slightly irritating. Phone lines incredibly busy so took a while to get through (10 mins) - I didn’t want to fill out an online form for a missing item for obvious reasons but top marks for the chap who answered and sorted. As I say I do love Mylands but whoever packages their orders needs a word :/

She helped me so much with projects I had been stuck on for years. I cannot recommend Mylands highly enough for quality of advice and quality of products. Nigel in the showroom is brilliant too. Well worth the trip across London for me-I won't be going anywhere else.

Exceptional paint, as usual. Initially ordered the “Beauvais” paint in the olive stone but found it almost impossible to apply then realised there was only half of my order (2. 5ltrs instead of 5ltrs) so I contacted Mylands and was very happy with the after care they offered. Not only was my issue solved, it was the manner in which it was solved. The person I spoke to, sorry I forgot his name, was very courteous, understanding and respectful. The knowledge and professionalism he offered was exceptional and made me feel at ease. The outcome was very satisfactory and at no extra cost the issue was resolved.
