We've tried other brands of mattresses but nothing compares to Essentia. We love our mattress and now have Essentia mattresses and pillows for our kids as well. Healthy sleep is a worthwhile investment.

Cannot imagine sleeping on anything else after sleeping on my Essentia mattress for the last few years. Love it so much I got one for the guest room. An environmentally friendly mattress was important to me when I bought it, the comfort and support it offers is a huge bonus. I am the perfect advert, lol! If you are even half thinking about buying one, just do it and don’t waste time thinking about it. One word of warning, they are very heavy if you have to move them.

I purchased a pillow from the Ottawa essentia store last fall. I was looking for a taller, more firm pillow to help give more space to my shoulder and neck muscles (I'm a side sleeper). After a somewhat disappointing trip to a couple of big-box mattress stores, I decided to see what essentia had to offer. The store owner spent about 20 minutes with me as I tried out different pillows - it was really great! I also learned about the benefits of essentia mattresses.

We bought the Essentia orthopaedic dog bed for our rescue dog, Chilli. He has joint issues, but just loves sleeping on this bed. We got the larger one so he could really stretch out. I have laid on it with him and it is so comfortable! This is really the ultimate dog bed, so spoil your fur friend.

Best combo or health and comfort

Hi All! This product (half-queen latex foam mattress topper) has fulfilled all expectations. I bought it to mitigate back stiffness in mornings and have found that it is truly helpful. One also sleeps much more soundly. The zip-off cover is very nice looking and is a practical design for cleanliness. No hesitation in recommending this product.

My husband and I LOVE our new Essentia Classic 8 mattress! We've had it for about 5 months and it's super comfortable. We're sleeping way better than we have for many, many years. We sleep deeply. We wake feeling rested. We don't have hip or back aches any more. We don't wake each other when we move around in the bed at night any more. He's 6' tall and sleeps on his side most of the time. I'm 5' tall and sleep on my stomach most of the time. The mattress works beautifully for both of us. And I love the fact that it's organic and all natural so it doesn't have the harsh chemicals that are in so many other mattresses, plus there were no awful off-gases when we first got the mattress either. Also, and this was also very important for us, Essentia is a Canadian company and we always prefer to shop Canadian if we can so we were thrilled to find such an excellent quality Canadian memory foam mattress! As for our experience with Essentia as customers, Mitch Moorehouse at the Richmond Rd store in Ottawa has been really pleasant to deal with and very informative. Overall we've been well served by Essentia and are happy with the customer service we've received. We wholeheartedly recommend this company and it's products.

We have an Essentia mattress and adjustable bed. I love it and sleep best at home. I am spoiled for any other bed and really miss my bed when away!

Where have you been all my life! Incredible! My husband suffers from involuntary arm and leg movements all night long and finally, I don’t feel his movements. And even better, my overall sleep is deeper and markedly more satisfying and restorative. Yikes. What a change. I am very happy and my husband is too.

What can I say, our Essentia has been wonderful. We did a ton of online research before we bought it, and ultimately, we were sold on the natural, biodegradable aspect. But we've been sleeping amazingly since we got it.

I sleep on my side and I learned that a foam mattress would be better for my back and for my sleep. It is true: I am sleeping much better.

For the last 5 years I've been looking for a replacement for my Tempur Pedic ergonomic pillow (previously made in Europe). Since they have been purchased by an American company, Tempur Pedic pillows are not the same as they are regrettably much firmer. Too firm. My Essentia orthopedic pillow is perfect!! Not too firm, not too soft. Love it so much I didn't hesitate to purchase a second one. It has definitely alleviated my neck pain.
