My mother purchased her hearing aids from Md before seeing a doctor. She has a blockage that has to be dealt with & we returned her hearing aids with no issues. The customer service team was very courteous and informative. My mother received her refund in a timely manner. I would highly recommend MDHearing.
I am 76 and female. That matters because I am going to comment on wearing MD Hearing aids with plastic headbands and glasses. I went for an "annual" hearing aid test at an independent hearing aid provider in rural northern Michigan. I went for the test and the technician told me "I am going to test your hearing and then discuss hearing aid options with you". This was an immediate red flag since I had never been in this office. I went for a free hearing test offered by a national chain. I was told I need hearing aids and was given some information about how hearing loss generally affects the brain, memory, etc. Both times I felt like I was at a used car dealer and being pressured to buy a lemon. I live in a state that provides hearing aids to senior citizens if they are needed to get a job or keep a job. That process takes 5 months. I currently work 2 jobs. I researched my options about types of hearing aids, over the counter aids, etc. etc. I don't know anyone who wears hearing aids and my sense is that the providers who tested me would require regular office visits and generally take up too much of my busy life. I bought a pair of hearing aids from Amazon from a hearing aid provider with generally positive reviews. I wore their hearing aids for a few days and I was a wreck. I didn't need to hear myself chewing food or talking in stereo surround mode. That pair was not the cheapest and not the most expensive. I figured something was better than nothing. I am writing this review to help others. Trust me. It was financially painful for me to buy the Volt Max Generation 2 hearing aids from MD Hearing. I have now been wearing them for 3 hours. I notice the difference between the MD Hearing aids and the less expensive pair I bought and returned from company through Amazon. Here are the differences and why I am willing to sacrifice twice the money to have my MD Hearing aids over a cheaper product from another company: 1) my hearing loss mattered to the techician/agent wh...
I tried to call the 1-800 number but after waiting for a really long time, I was advised I would get a call back and was hung up on. I used my new NEO XS hearing aids for the first time yesterday after charging all night and was pleasantly surprised. We had a Father's Day luncheon, and I could actually hear what everyone was saying. I could actually join in on the conversations for the first time in years. Then it happened. About 3 hours of usage, I started hearing 3 beeps in my left ear. It would pause for a while, and it would do it again. This went on for about 30 minutes before the left side quit working. The right side was still working great. I placed both back in the charger and both sides gave a solid blue light at first, but the right side went green almost immediately while the left side stayed blue. When I got a solid green on both sides, I tried them again and the same thing happened after about 2 hours. I left on charge last night to see what happens today. This morning, I started having the same problem with the left hearing aid while the right side worked fine. I still can't get any support or reply from MDHearing.
Love my volt max 2 and the fact I can adjust everything positions a loudness with the app on my phone. It makes it much simpler esp since I also wear eye glasses. Hearing better than I have in years using them. The app makes the volt max 2 well worth the extra cost in my opinion.
I bought a pair of these two years ago and put the box in a drawer. When my hearing deteriorated (I'm 80) I opened the box, read a little of the instructions, and turned on the charger. I was able to figure it all out in about an hour, and they charged right up. They are invisible. Only hassle is making sure you have the right size tip on it so it doesn't squeal with feedback. I'm comfortable wearing just one and I don't even know I have it in. It's another piece of technology to have to deal with but they work great.
Biggest problem is getting them to charge. Unlike the pictures that show the charging base is flat. THAT’S NOT TRUE!!! The charging base is rounded and the charging cord is in the bottom making it impossible to stand up. It’s falls over on its side which breaks the charging connection.
I have used the Volt model for several years. I had two problems with them: inability to understand many words spoken, and poor reliability. However customer service was excellent regarding reliability. I recently bought the Volt Max2 model which is an actual hearing aid that is programmed for personal hearing loss. Now I hear spoken words clearly. I give the Volt Max2 5 stars. It is well worth the cost.
I did a lot of research and decided to buy from MD Hearing based on all the reviews. So glad I did. Love the hearing aids and the stabilizer is genius, it keeps my aids in place without having to adjust them throughout the day. Sound is clear and the volume is adjustable to adapt to whatever I need. I would give customer service 10 stars if possible. They are friendly, patient, informative and so helpful. They respond to my questions promptly and I get to talk to an actual person. I recommend these hearing aids to everyone I talk to. I repeat "Best Decision Ever".
I love my new MDHearing aids the sound and quality are fantastic. Customer service representative are kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend these hearing aids they far surpassed my expectations you won’t be disappointed!
The first one I tried, the volt 4? Did pretty good but not a lot of clarity,so I returned it, got a full refund and I tried the Nova,,but it squeels and takes practice putting in the ear, feels like it'll fall out, I'm not too happy with it. SO, Monday after work I'll call and speak with Jamie and I have a different hearing aid in mind I want to try. BUT mdhearing is TRUE to their word!
Bought these for my mother-in-law. The customer service is fantastic. When I told them she wasn’t wearing them like I thought she should be, the very nice gentlemen on the phone offered to talk with her and has since helped her work through the reasons she wasn’t wearing them. I will always pay top dollar for a product if they have amazing customer service and the best part was that these weren’t that expensive. Love MD Hearing!
My hearing has been going bad for a little while now. I knew I needed hearing aids, but they were so expensive I just couldn't do it. Then my hearing got worse. I had to lean in when conversing with people in person, and turn the volume up on my work or cell phone. My relationships at home and work depend on effective communication. I did not feel myself anymore. Then research lead me to MDhearing. I recently purchased the volt 4 hearing aids. I am just in day 3 and already notice the difference. I highly recommend MDhearing to all. Thank you
I have had several different models of MD Hearing Aids over several years. Always have had excellent results. The support team is always helpful and answer any questions you may have. I would recommend anyone needing hearing aids to check with MD Hearing.
I had one of my Air 3 hearing aids stop working. I spoke with Matthew, and he took care of replacing the Aid after trying a few things over the phone. It was a smooth experience, and a pleasure to talk to someone who spoke English.
I took the “no questions asked “ in the return policy with a grain of salt but it truly was that easy. Susan made the process uneventful.
In my experience, MD Hearing Company is the best around, in all areas! From customer service, product efficiency and general management, they are all well trained, very personable and caring and have patience with older people. Congratulations MD hearing. You deserve all the accolades you get! Judith from Stamford, Ct.
I only paid $297 for the pair. My original hearing aids (Siemen) cost me $2700! What a bargain the VOLT 4 is at only one-ninth the price, and they work better. THANK YOU MDHearing!
MDHearing has extremely helpful support. They stand behind their product. I am very pleased at the price as well.
I have been wearing the Neo XS Pro since they were introduced. They are the best fit and the quality and performance are the best. I love them so much I bought two pairs. For several years I bought hearing aids that cost nearly $3,000, but they were never as good as the Neo XS Pro. The customer service is so professional and I cannot thank MD Hearing for making my life so much better.
I BOUGHT MY HEARING AIDS FROM MD HEARING AFTER GOING FOR A HEARING TEST. FOUND OUT THEY WOULD BE $5000. 00 & INSURANCE WOULD ONLY PAY $1500. 00. I TALKED TO SOME FRIENDS & RELATIVES AND ALL SAID THEY GOT OTC AIDS FOR A WHOLE LOT LESS AND WERE BETTER THAN THE Rx ONES. I RESEARCHED ONLINE, READ A TON OF REVIEWS & DECIDED TO GO WITH MD HEARING. I AM NOT DISAPOINTED. MINE WERE WAY UNDER $1000 FOR A SET & ARE RECHARGEABLE. THEY HAVE GREAT TEACHING VIDEOS & FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF YOU'RE LIKE ME & CAN'T SPEND A $$$$$ MONEY, GIVE THEM A TRY, THEY REALLY WILL TRY TO HELP YOU.
