We received our Patton style mantel/fireplace unit in perfect condition . Assembly went smoothly, although you will need a second person to hold the pieces together as the screws are tightened. One important note: we improved the stability of the mantel by using metal L brackets inside the unit walls and to secure the top of mantel to the body. Aside from that, we are very satisfied w/ our purchase.

My mantle was manufactured on time and delivered 4 days earlier than expected. The workmanship was good and the paint finish was better than I could do on site. Instalation went smooth. I had to search for and purchase masonry fasteners for French cleat attaching. I was drilling into a brick fireplace. 4 fasteners equally spaced for attaching cleat worked well.
