Finally moved into our new home. The mantel is fantastic. So many compliments.

I do like the options and designs your company offer however the shipping is absolutely terrible. The first mantle arrived damaged. When customers pay this much for a mantle the least you could do is add protective packing in the box instead of just putting the mantle in a box. The replacement process was not difficult however I had asked to put the replacement in a box with proper packing and it was not. The replacement came with damage as well but this time it was only on the bottom so to save myself the headache I’m just going to keep it. This is the second time I’ve ordered from your company and will be the last. I only gave 2 stars because I think you have good designs but shipping should be negative stars. You need to put more care into packaging and show respect for the customer who is paying for the product.

I'm an interior designer and honestly I was afraid of ordering one of these beautiful mantels because the measuring scared me. I didn't want to mess up something totally custom. Brett and his team were superstars and walked me through the whole process. My clients mantel is stunning and came in even more perfect than described on the site.

Took longer than expected but it is beautiful

Mantle was shipped within 2 days but it was cracked. Now we have to return for another one.

Mantels Direct was fine. . . . finished product had an inadequate sized cleat. Only 3 ft for a 5 ft mantel. We had to design and build a more substantial cleat so it wouldn't wiggle or sag at the ends. Not cool to have to put that effort into something we paid quite a bit for .

The mantel quality is pretty decent. Not amazing, but not terrible either. The “install” kit is a joke though. I had to custom make something so I could install it. What they provide is two little pieces of wood that are completely useless.

I like the mantel but the directions could be a lot more helpful and accurate. Others were helping me and we all had to figure things out as the directions were incomplete. Also, the 2 screws that are needed to attach the mantle to the wall aren't even included which was really disappointing. There were lots of additional questions because the directions weren't thorough. The support was helpful though the directions need to be rewritten.

Customer service knowledgeable and helpful. Shipping quick and packaged secure and very well protected. Husband did well putting it up and securing it to the wall with just a screw or two as it would be temporary until we found a reputable tile person. A year later we finally found someone to come tile (for a reasonable cost), with gray half bricks so the mantle had to be removed and re hung when tile work was finished. My husband and son hung and secured it in about 30 minutes after a year long wait, just in time for Christmas!

Not sure what level of craftsmanship I expected for a $1000 mantle, but cam lock and pressed wood on half the mantle was not it. Interior moulding cut not accurate. . This mantle was supposed to be paint or stainable and it cannot be stained due to the lack of wood grain on half of it. If I had to do it over again I would not. Package arrived well packed was the highlight.

Delivery was efficient and the fireplace well packed.

Product looks very fake. The “knots” almost look like a 10 year old carved them in. Not impressed at all.

Product is good, solid and is beautiful however the mounting is cheap, very difficult, doesn’t come with a template or hardware required. It took way too much time, purchasing my own hardware, developing my own template and still had to have a carpenter come and install to ensure it was safe. Would not recommend
