I had an amazing experience with Lensrentals and their customer service truly went above and beyond. Due to bad weather, I wasn’t able to arrive at my destination in time to pick up my package from FedEx, and I was told it might be shipped back the next morning. I was stressed because I didn’t know if I’d make it in time. I called Lensrentals, and they immediately stepped in. They had multiple team members working on my case at once, contacting FedEx directly, keeping me updated every step of the way, and guiding me on exactly what I needed to do to make sure everything was documented. What stood out most was how proactive and communicative they were. I’m usually the type to have a lot of questions in situations like this, but I didn’t have a single one because I knew they had it handled. They were able to get FedEx to hold my package until I arrived the next day, something I wouldn’t have been able to coordinate on my own. The entire situation was resolved within an hour while I was still at the airport. Super friendly, incredibly helpful, and truly top-tier customer service. I’ll absolutely continue renting from them.

Things awesome, very happy with it so far. Shipped quickly and included more then I though( I thought I was getting just the GoPro) they sent mounts battery GoPro case and charger! Definitely recommend.

For doing product shots of my tents, I rented a GH7 and the Leica/Lumix 10-25mm f1. 7 because of its legendary sharpness. After working out a reasonable focus stacking flow, balancing depth of field versus number of shots, everything worked flawlessly. The camera and lens delivered astonishingly high resolution 100M photos after I settled on stacking three shots at the lens’ peak resolution (f4). I almost could have lived with one shot at f5. 6, but…nah. It’s amazing to me that the 10-25 had so much more resolution capability than a M4/3 sensor in regular-rez mode would need. My trusty Lumix 12-35 f2. 8 also did surprisingly well on the GH7. Contrast wasn’t quite as good as the 10-25 but it was gratifying that my everyday lens (on a GH5) did so well. Apparently the 12-35 lens also has quite a lot of resolution headroom.
