Just got my desert boots today (with brown crepe soles). They are gorgeous--stitching, materials, everything. Fit perfectly. I also want to complement Jadd on responding promptly to questions about sizing. I'm very pleased and will buy shoes next.

TL;DR: If you like the look of these, go for it! No regrets! These boots are impeccably made with quality materials, comfortable out of the box, a fair price for the value, look great, ninja-level quiet outsoles. . . really, what more could you want? My only caveat here is be mindful that the product photos were probably taken under very bright lights, so they are just slightly darker/browner in person. Also, be very, very sure of your measurements and sizing first to avoid returns, etc. It took me a couple of tries to zero in on my size with Jadd's assistance, but once we did, I couldn't wait to order more. In fact, I'm wearing them as I type this, and I look forward to many years of service from every pair of Jadd boots I now proudly own.

These boots are truly amazing and Jadd is a one-of-a-kind artist. Since I mostly use barefoot shoes (due to having very wide feet) I asked for a boot with as minimal construction as possible and with a very wide toebox. Barefoot boots often look ridiculous and clowny, especially if you are used to classic leather boots. However, Jadd managed so well to accommodate my requests and at the same time to deliver a beautiful pair of boots. The Horween leather has a great character and depth, and the overall design is perfect for a smart casual look. Couldn’t be happier with the result!

I was really excited for these boots and they don't disappoint. The leather is beautiful and the soles are, genuinely, a thing of wonder!

I have just received my wild elk boots and I am absolutely delighted. This is my second pair of boots from Jadd and I have lived in my suede boots with LH sole. As part of the process I sent Jadd pictures about how my wide feet had stretched the suede and he has made the new pair to take this into account. I have never had a pair of shoes which have felt so comfortable out of the box. Would give 10 stars if I could

I have never known a new pair of shoes which don't need breaking in, but these are they; the very comfortable sole makes it like walking on air, and completely soundless - I call them my stealth shoes! So glad I discovered Jadd, and I may buy a further pair.

These were the third pair of boots I have bought from Jadd and, as with the other two, are excellent. Definitely a boot for the harsher weather and beautifully made. They aren't cheap but well worth the money.
