Jadd was very helpful with his advice on shoe fit, which was not as simple as you would expect as my right foot is a cm longer. Got a UK6. 5 for the left shoe and a UK7 for the right. The uppers are the best quality suede I have ever felt in the hand, being thick but also very soft. Stitching and all finishing work is flawless as far as I can see. Great looking, comfortable, and exceptionally well designed and made. I will make my next Jadd purchase soon, with confidence. Ryan

The design is a good and clean dessert boot but the supple thick suede and the creep sole is so much better then most dessert boots on the market. On top of that, the construction of boot is solid. If I need more dessert boots I know where to return for more.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. I can honestly say the service was amazing, and even though I was late placing my order, they arrived on time. My husband absolutely loves them and thinks they are so comfortable. He has difficult feet to buy for but these come in a wide fitting and fit him amazingly. If you are tempted to buy my only advice is - do it!

Exceptional quality and service

I ordered a pair of desert boots about 15 months ago, and Jadd wrote to me to make sure the size was appropriate. I subsequently received and was very happy with the shoes, and so recently I decided to get another two pairs. I reached out with an order, and Jadd corrected the size after looking back and reviewing my ordering records. He then asked me how they fit, and I gave him feedback. He further customized the shoes, including making one shoe slightly larger than the other. They are spectacular. I could not be happier with the service and this purchase.

Finest quality boots, fabulous craftsmanship and customer service is outstanding. Jadd understood my requirements and delivered a truly excellent pair of boots. Kudu leather is wearable right out of the box and hardwearing, Lactae Hevea soles are soft, comfortable and silent. I’ve had many pairs of quality footwear, these are still the very best.

I was delighted with my new desert boots. I’ve always thought it worth spending the extra for quality and have shoes which are 20 years old and going strong. It’s clear Jadd shoes are in this league, traditional style and old-fashioned attention to detail. I’ll be buying more. .

Lovely boots. Immediately wearable, almost no breaking-in required. Should easily withstand most of what autumn and winter have to offer.

I doubt you can make boots any more comfortable than these. My second pair of LH soled hi tops, the other being the kudu, I’ll enjoy adding these to my lineup along with three pairs of desert boots from Jadd. My diabetic neuropathy makes finding comfortable shoes a challenge but these always fit the bill. I doubt you’ll find any one more willing to work with you to make you exactly what you want than Jadd.

These are my first impressions after two days of wear. A bit of background - I'm a shoe snob with boots from Barker, Carlos Santos, Cheaney, Tricker's, and Crockett & Jones. Compared to these, the Jadd boots are not particularly stylish. Which is fair enough, because I don't think Jadd are competing in that arena. They tend more towards the utilitarian, but they are still quite smart - I've found they pair well with smart jeans and a formal shirt, and equally well with jeans and a t-shirt. When it comes to construction, though, the Jadds really do compete. Materials are excellent, stitching is excellent, and construction looks and feels top notch. I'm terms of comfort, the Jadds blow my other boots out of the water. The kudu leather is thick and soft and pliable, the lactae hevea soles have a beautifully moderated sense of 'give' without being squishy, and there is a strong sense of firmness directly under the foot (that will be the veg tanned insoles) then compliance where the rubber meets the road. My injured knees love this, these boots are a pleasure to walk on. Overall weight is surprisingly low, making the boots feel agile. One very slight niggle - the photos on the website (perfectly reasonably) show a particularly scarred leather with lots of small dark scratches in the hide. I think this looks fantastic. The kudu my boots were made from was clearly a lot less gung-ho in the thorn bushes, and therefore has a much more uniform colour. I'd prefer a more marked hide but, as I said, this is minor. In summary, really great boots. So good that I'm already working out which pair of Jadds I'm going to buy next. Very, very highly recommended.

Absolutely great boots. Jadd has amazing craftsmanship, uses quality materials and provides superb service. These boots are so comfy for everyday use, leather is so supple and the sole has a great feel when walking around. Would recommend for anyone looking for daily desert boots.

Beautifully made and very comfortable desert boots. When they arrived I wanted to check the sizing as they were a snug fit. I messaged Jadd and he was quick to respond asking me to send a photo. I was reassured after discussing it. Great service. Very pleased with my shoes.

When you open the box there is that wonderful smell you get in shoe repairers. The smell of freshly made shoes. The quality and workmanship in these boots is absolutely incredible, oh and they are so comfortable. Expensive? No absolutely not. In this day of mass production throw away fashion these are worth every penny.
