      Down Alternative

      I'm disappointed at how hard and uncomfortable the cushions are on my Sloan sectional, with down alternative material. I'm hoping they soften up, but so far remain extremely rigid.

      They lost our sectional

      We have been waiting on our couches for 6 months. They are now lost and no one at interior define is helpful. Everyone is nice I speak with but they really don't care to get after the shipping company. 6k worth of furniture. Would not recommend, been an absolutely terrible mess with almost no help from interior define.

      Still waiting.....

      I ordered a 'quick ship" item because I did not want to wait the 18 to 22 weeks it would take for a custom piece. The site said it would arrive in 2 to 3 weeks. It has been 6 weeks and I still have not received it. When I call, customer service is friendly enough, but then days turn to weeks without hearing anything. No one there can seem to find out what happened. They offered a small discount on the order, but I am doubtful it will arrive. I will update this if anything changes.

      Never got delivery

      I ordered a chair back in March that has yet to arrive. I have gotten updates from the company stating the item is being built. Then the item was on the ship but when will I get the chair? I called multiple times to cancel the order. When I finally spoke to someone I was told the fee to cancel is half the price of the ordered item. Are you serious? Not happy at all with this company. Do not order unless you don’t mind waiting 6 months for delivery

      Worst delivery experience of my life, & damage to a chair!!!

      Interior Define used Metropolitan Warehouse delivery service for deliver to our home. If Interior Define sets this company up for your delivery, request another service!!! Two drivers showed up, and neither spoke a word of English. The latter is a non-issue for us as we are supporters of diverse world view. That said however, someone on the crew should.have spoken English so as to create a fair and balanced delivery experience for us. Not one word of English BTW. Their "boss" they put me on the phone with wasn't much better, and could barely understand him. The delivery drivers rolled their eyes at me disrespectfully when I tried to communicate that after they opened the filthy boxes with their bare hands, it would be appreciated if they could wipe their hands off before touching the brand new velvet material on the sectional, chairs, & ottomans we paid so dearly for. SO MUCH FOR WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY! So I even provided them with individual clean rags, which they resisted using. This experience was such a joke from start to finish. Shame on you Interior Define, as whom you choose to contract with for delivery is a direct reflection on your business reputation. Not to mention we waited 6 months for these items, and I then to add injury to insult, I had to send back a camel chair that had black grease all over one corner of the chair, with multiple blue circular stains on the seat cushion, the back cushion, and a tear in the base right under the seat cushion. I won't recommend Interior Define to anyone, as the damaged chair came right out of the box, not from the drivers themselves. This should have all been done seamlessly, and you dropped the ball Interior Define!! We certainly hope our replacement chair doesn't arrive with stains and damage!

      So disappointed..

      I really wanted to love this company. I work as an interior stylist with long distance clients, so the ease of obtaining swatches, the ability to customize, and the design collaborations with industry creatives were all big pluses. To make things even easier, I live in Boston near one of their "Guideshop" locations, so I can see product in person before recommending/purchasing. Unfortunately, after placing an order with Interior Define in early January 2021, I can safely say not only will I never purchase from them again, I will tell my clients and anyone else who asks to spend their money with a more reputable company. I was quoted 18-20 weeks for my order, which yes, is a very long lead-time. However, COVID has blown up lead-times for everyone so this wasn't a total surprise. Around week 20, delivery was scheduled. The delivery partner arrived with my two part sectional, each part packaged individually. I was informed by the delivery team that one half of the sofa they had on the truck was in a completely different color. They unpackaged the half that was correct and left. I I chalked this up to a delivery warehouse mix-up, and figured it would be resolved within a couple of days. One month later, I still have only half of a sofa. No one will tell me where the other half is, how long it will take to receive, or whether it was ever manufactured in the first place. The customer service team is either woefully understaffed or doesn't care about their customers (or both). They average one week to respond to emails and don't answer the phone or return calls after leaving a voicemail. If you want to get someone on the phone, you have to call the sales line (they answer right away there, of course!), only to have the salesperson say you have to call customer service. When I finally did receive a response, the solution they provided was to cancel my original order and place a new order with them from their "Quickship" line.       Sofa fabric pilling

      I just received my Sloane sectional in February. I loved it, but am super disappointed that the Vintage Plush fabric is piling all over already, making the couch already look worn and old. The level of wear in only 3 months is incredibly disappointing.

      Worst customer service

      I recently purchased a custom ottoman which i loved at first. Unfortunately within a few weeks it had two small holes beginning (ottoman cost over $1000). I specifically purchased one of the "family friendly" fabrics but still made sure our use was gentle and minimal. I reached out to customer service for some sort of resolution and was told it could be 14 days for a response. Fine. It has now been over a month since my initial contact and all i received was an email on 3/22 asking me to be patient. It's now 4/26 and i have not heard further from them. Would not recommend doing business with this company that clearly does not value It's customers.

      I'm kind of obsessed...

      I finally (wish I'd done it sooner!) ordered a new couch for our great room. I got the Sloan in the gorgeous palomino leather. It has exceeded my expectations in every way! I wanted to wait a bit to leave a review until we had some "seat time" with it. So here goes... Firstly, the house smells like leather. REAL leather and I've had many saddles so I know the smell well. That means super high quality materials. I was hesitant about the back cushions not being attached, but they don't budge! And then there's the bonus of being able to rotate for even wear. But there are even hooks and loops for the bottom cushions to keep those in place (as if the velcro wasn't enough!). Amazing! The couch sits firm, but still very comfortable and I'm actually glad it's a bit on the firm side as the really cushy ones break down faster. I also ordered the Chesterfield ottoman in the timeless and classic navy velvet. It's a centerpiece in its own right! I love love love my Interior Define pieces and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone! Also, my consultant, Stephanie, was very helpful and was quick to respond to any questions I had whether it was email or over the phone. So impressive all the way around!

      DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME

      DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. RUN AWAY, BUYER BEWARE. CON ARTISTS ABOUND. I cannot review the quality of the furniture, as I have yet to receive the order I placed 22 weeks ago. The order that was I was guaranteed would be in my home within 15 weeks. The order that was scanned in at a mystery warehouse in February that hasn’t actually been “received” by said warehouse (someone explain that to me please). Listen, I know there are shipping delays. But not a single person from this company has reached out to advise on or explain the delay, or set any kind of expectation on what’s next. Customer service is non existent, I’ve been trying to call, email, and web chat for over a month to get some kind of update, but nothing. Why do you offer so many avenues for customer service if there’s no one staffing them? I get promotional emails twice a week, but I can’t get a call back regarding my likely lost order? What a scam. I want my money back. Please don’t be fooled by the Instagram worthy web photos, it’s all A HOAX. Do not give this company on cent of your hard earned money. Are you listening yet, interior Define? Give me my money back plz just now

      Misleading Website - Returns will 100% cost you a lot of money!

      When checking out it says 60 day return. However, when you hover for more details it says this: "We offer flexible policies for customers within the 48 contiguous United States who request a return or exchange within 60 days of delivery. Some fees may apply." If you think that means it will likely be a shipping fee or something - think again. If you go to their policy to fully read it, it says shipping is lost PLUS 50% processing for returns and 25% for exchanges. They are 100% applied - there is no 'may apply'. This is so misleading to make it seem like there is no issue. They could just says 25% for exchanges and 50% for returns - but they choose to mislead. I asked Nga the customer service person about it and they closed the chat. Not a great look.

      Beautiful Jason Wu 85 inch sofa

      Though we waited 5 months for this sofa in camel-color leather, we are VERY happy with the workmanship! A signature piece in the home. A sofa should be an exceptional core piece of quality furniture, and this is ours! I wish I could add an image to show off the couch.

      The couch looks pretty but

      The couch looks pretty but is not comfortable at all. The cushions constantly slide out of place and need fluffing after each use. Not what I expected. More of a couch for “show”

      Beautiful Even Two Years Later

      We had a sofa made just over two years ago, we have a tiny den and Interior Define was able to create a 103" piece with a narrow depth because of numerous space challenges. Our sofa looks and feels like it was made last week. The cushions are firm and lovely. The fabric, citron velvet washes easily, always has a couple of cats on it and it's the most used piece of furniture in our house, it gets approximately 3-6 hours a day in use. If the back cushions are removed it sleeps a person comfortable and the chase can sleep a 12 year-old. Delivery was glitchy because we live on a snowy mountain top in Southern California, but came together because Interior Design staff customer service did back flips to overcome these. Everyone complements this beautiful, perfectly made sofa. It was a bit scary buying something online; we did stop by the showroom in Los Angeles to see samples and are still amazed that the measurements came out exactly right.

      Cushions are stiff as a board

      Waited 5 months for this couch and you could bounce a quarter off of it. I even paid extra for the cushions to be extra soft. Called customer service and they said wait until the cushions are broken in. Wait? For how long? To return its 50% "processing fee". So much for money back guarantee. Too bad. I was so looking forward to this couch. Very disappointed. Wonder if this review will be posted as I only see 5 star reviews. Buyer Beware!

      Great Customer Service.

      Just placed an order for the Sloan Sleeper. The free fabric swatches are a total game changer and were delivered super quick. After placing my free fabirc swatch order, a design specialist reached out right away to see if I had any questions or concerns. My design specialist, Nga Le, was super helpful and responded to all my questions very promptly. I was interested in a fabric that was in low stock and they were able to check if it was still available and place my order. I would highly recommend Interior Define, particularly if this is your first time purchasing a big ticket furniture piece!

      Not a good experience at

      Not a good experience at all. Received little guidance during the order process. Wrong item shipped. When I asked for a replacement was treated very poorly by the supervisor. A replacement was shipped for an added cost although the mistake was not my fault. took a very long time for the replacement to be received and the sofa is very bad quality. The fabric is already pilling, cushions are lopsided, sofa is very uncomfortable. Wish I kept my 12 year old Mitchell Gold Williams sofa rather than ordering the Interior Define sofa. Very unpleasant experience throughout and now I'm stuck with a defective sofa.

      Long wait but Awesome Couch!!

      This couch is gorgeous and comfortable. I got the Extra firm cushions and even though I ordered a light fabric, it is holding up well with 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog in our family room. The fabric is so comfortable and easy to clean. My friend is ordering one now.

      Sloan Sectional Comfortable, but other things to note

      We ordered the sloan without sitting on or seeing it. The designer said it was the most comfortable modern sofa, sounds good! We chose the fabric based on fabric samples and the web tool is great to give you the visual of the sofa in your fabric, size and feet. Delivery was not ideal... the delivery company came and delivered the sofa, but did not do a good job connecting the sectional pieces or screwing in the legs completely. After contacting Interior Define a couple of times, I receive the setup instructions. The bottom line is the hardware that connects the sectional is not very sturdy. I assume it will work ok, but with kids jumping around and flopping on the sofa, I don't know how long it will last. Overall the sofa is super comfortable and meets our needs, but we are very disappointed in connection point of the sectional pieces. Also note that the standard sofa depth of 36" seems very deep... both me and my husband (I'm 5'5" and he is 6'1") need a throw pillow behind our back to be able to sit up with our feet on the floor. For putting your feet up or slouching/lounging, it is very comfortable with or without throw pillows. And it looks great... the fabric is lovely and general construction seems solid. If you have the opportunity to try it before ordering, I would recommend that.
