I purchased a Quick Mill Pop-Up after my Breville Barista Express died, and it has been a great upgrade. There is a bit of a learning curve, to controlling shot length, and steaming, but the freedom afforded is great. The heat-up is very fast, around 5min which I appreciate. The machine feels solid and well made. I initially received the older model with the long steaming wand, but iDrinkCoffee were great and exchanged it for the newer machine (which has a shorter wand for easier operation) as soon as I contacted them.

I believe this is it! Using this grinder just adds to the pleasure of the espresso-making process. It is actually fun to dial in espresso with that king-sized stepless dial, and the results are amazing shots that rival the ones I get from my cafe. I was considering going with the single dose version of this -- the Zero 65 (same 65 mm flat burrs), but if I'm going for the last grinder I ever own, then grind by weight has to be part of it. . and I'm happy I spent extra for it. The scale is accurate like everyone says, and if you hear anyone complain about the 'FH error', disregard them. I get that error on screen when I leave the portafilter parked in the grinder's holder for too long before starting the grind, so it doesn't take too much to figure out that the FH error is there to keep the machine calibrated, thus being able to provide accurate output to within . 1 of a gram. So I wake up, walk over and put the portafilter in the holder and hit a button. A few seconds later, there's my perfectly ground, perfectly weighed coffee ready. Not sure what else I could ask for.
