At first the ice cream froze very hard, but my son started using the Hurom ice cream maker and we were very happy with the results. After a long period of use, a small crack appeared, most likely from regular use. We contacted Hurom and ordered a replacement, and they kindly sent a new one. Now we are happily continuing to make ice cream again.
