Decades of fad and yo-yo dieting (losing 50 pounds, then gaining 60, then losing 40, etc. ) had left me staring at turning 50 as an obese, fatigued man with red lining bloodwork. My body transformed and I began to crave real food while processed food and sugars became unpalatable.
