Keith Baar's lab demonstrated that consuming collagen before loading the tendon doubles collagen synthesis markers. Vitamin C is a mandatory co factor for cross-linking of collagen fibers. Consuming 15 grams of hydrolyzed collagen with the vitamin C exactly 60 minutes before rehab or training session floods the blood with the amino acids glycine and proline just as the blood flows to the tendon peaks during exercise. Frog fuel met the criteria I was looking for. Did it make a differnce? Yes. What should have been an 8 week process of rehab and healing took around 5 weeks. Also, I followed other rehab protocols, but I feel frog fuel was a major factor in the recovery process.

Why do I continue to subscribe to Ultra Energized? Two reasons - coffee upsets my stomach so FrogFuel provides me caffeine to help me get going. It also provides protein in a collagen form for easy absorption to support my physical actions.

I have been using Frog Fuel for about 2 years and love it! I recently started buying it in the 32 oz bottle. One of these bottles tasted very different than regular frog fuel. Not sure what the problem was. Love all the products from Frog Fuel. Wouldn't want to go without it.

The Frog Fuel is easy to put in your gym bag and take after your workout without a lot of prep work.

The product is good. The customer service not so good. I have called and emailed with a problem and have received no response.
