Our first fireplace arrived with major damage to box and the ceramic logs. In contacting company and speaking to Charlene we received no hassle, were asked to submit photo of the unit and damage. Within 3 hours Charlene had another unit ready to ship out. We love the unit, has high quality and provides a beautiful addition to our room. We would highly recommend the company.

First of all, even though I'm giving this 3 stars, I really love it. I am docking one star for misleading product information - it states it can heat 1,000 square feet. That is not true at all. I originally had it in my living room (39x14' room, so about 540 square feet) and I could not feel the warmth unless I was within a foot of the fireplace, even though it was cranked the highest it could go. However, once I moved it into my bedroom and closed the door it heated it quite nicely (probably around 200 square feet). I am docking another star because the plastic logs look so ridiculous fake (a third of each end of them is just grayish white for some reason), and there were chips on them. That said, it's very cute, love the style and color, and perfectly heats up my small bedroom. I also paid extra for the speaker that makes it sound like real burning logs and I love that feature as well. For $20 I feel like you could just make that a feature of the fireplace.
