The Eargo 6 is a remarkable hearing device. It has exceptional features and definitely allowed me to hear much better. Especially my wife's voice (well, maybe exaggerating a bit). All kidding aside, most men seem to lose that high frequency range, and what is known as "selective hearing", is actually, "I really can't hear you well". The Eargo 6 will definitely take care of that and more. Restaurants were easier to converse in, and at work conversations and meetings were definitely easier to understand speakers and coworkers.

Best way to share my experience is to start with a little history. I'm 61 years old with moderate to severe hearing loss. Started out in 2011 with ReSound behind-the-ear devices. Old tech compared to today's products. I had to frequently visit for fine tuning. And the aids tired out my brain. When I retired in 2013, it was in part due to my hearing loss. But I was going to retire early anyway. After retirement, I got lazy and didn't keep up with wearing the things. They never felt comfy enough to wear all the time. Finally, my primary care physician, a quiet spoken woman, got frustrated enough with having to repeat herself that she handed me a referral for a hearing specialist. I said okay... time to stop pretending and reading lips. The hearing test result was no surprise. And, of course, the ear surgeon got to see me for a second and tell me I simply needed hearing aids. Duh! LOL. I started dreading the thought of dishing lots of bucks for over the ear, battery based aids that had to be customized via an audiologist. And much more if I wanted in the ear rechargeable ones. I had heard about Congress finally passing legislation that enabled companies like Eargo to offer aids for mild to moderate hearing loss with lots of customization per ear. I started researching and kept coming back to your solution. It offers a price point that I can live with. I know I'm moderate to severe and your aids are not designed for that level of loss. However, with your no questions asked 45-day return policy, I figured that would give me ample time to evaluate. I won't be returning these devices. They work very well for me. The features of the Sound Match do well for my asymmetrical hearing loss. Most products at your price point don't seem to offer relief for different levels of loss per ear. I use Normal, Restaurant, Phone and Music. I'm impressed with Eargo's product. I can definitely hear much better and I forget I have them on. My brain does not get tired of wearing them. And the...

I’m a 73 year old actively practicing dentist in New York City. I do operate around the edges of the digital domain, but I remain well attached to the analog world of old (works for me!). I caught a mention of your product on my cell phone (which I grudgingly carry around with me) and I was intrigued. I’ve been using Oticon battery powered hearing aids for six years or so. They often got in the way of the N95 masks I’ve used professionally for the past two years. The loop-around-the-ear masks were bad enough. The N95’s were worse. The solution is the Eargo 6, and they are a joy to wear. Nothing much else to say, except for one incident I’ll relate. I dropped my right Eargo 6 on a hardwood floor from a height of five plus feet. It bounced hard on the floor, and I feared the worst. Indeed, it did not turn immediately when I got it back in my ear. I left it in the charger overnight anyway, and, I’ll be darned, it was working properly the next morning and has been ever since. I guess they are built “Ford tough”! I’m a fan.

Product is cutting edge with features I was looking for. The support is outstanding, particularly Chelsea Skaggs. She has fine tuned my Eargo buds to my hearing profile and helped me with the learning process and support. All other staff have also been professional and pleasant to work with.

I LOVE THEM! I have the ear pieces in right now, and I cannot feel them inside my ears. There is a tiny transparent plastic "wire" that rests just outside the opening to my ears. They are the only things outside the ears. They are only visible to one who really looks for them. No interference with earrings. There is no ringing, buzzing or other noises that are associated with the Eargos. The true test for me was a performance at the theater. I had, in the past, difficulty hearing the actors. With the Eargos, I was able to hear the performers clearly. My husband, Jim, does not have to repeat himself for me in circumstances where I used to ask him to "Say that again." I highly recommend Eargos.

I have been super impressed with the entire staff at Eargo. The attentive mentality I have received is nothing less than TOP SHELF! One month into my first hearing aids and I am still working to get things dialed in but have never felt asking too many questions put anyone off. I look forward to how my life can be and has started to change because of your product.

My first encounter with an Eargo representative I told her that I was concerned because I am a nurse and I have a stethoscope that has a Bluetooth capability, but Eargo does not talk to Bluetooth. The representative made a suggestion for a product that allows me to keep my Eargo hearing aids in and still connect my stethoscope to a bone conduction headset. This works. The suggestion for my situation showed me that Eargo was really concerned about my hearing. My second encounter with an eargo representative, she guided me with many helpful hints to get the best results from my hearing aids. She did a second follow-up call with me to make sure everything was okay. My Eargo aids are working well. I am happy with my experience and the Eargo representatives have made this possible.

Pros and Cons well presented along with very good selection of videos describing and instructing on using and maintaining the product. Must also add the great follow up phone call with Dr. Sheets. She was a great help and answered several questions and concerns.

First off, I need to point out that because I have not had other types of hearing aids it is difficult to compare Eargos with other types of aids. What I can say is that I've seen individuals with other types struggle with masks, eye glasses, and other head wear when it comes to their hearing aids. One reason I went with Eargo was because they were in the ear canal and out of sight. This is not only a vanity issue but also allows me to wear sunglasses, reading glasses, and masks without interference. I had gone through and watched most videos on the Eargos and subscribed to the newsletter so was well versed in the use, care and cleaning of the devices before I purchased them. I think this helped immensely with getting started once they arrived. It took some time along with trial and error to figure out what was the best and most comfortable petals to use. The hearing experience so far has been good. Conversations that I used to miss out on some of what was being said are 100% better and much clearer. All-in-all, I'm pleased with the Eagos and would recommend them. There are times that I forget they are actually in my ears.

I am very pleased with my new Eargo 6 hearing aids. I like that the earbuds snap into place magnetically in the charger and how fast they charge. I appreciate the follow up customer care I’ve received and the help using new settings available on my phone. Being smaller, these Eargos are more comfortable and I am trying to wear them throughout the day instead of just “as needed.” I’m sure there will be continuing innovation in the technology and I will want those benefits too!

My path towards solutions to hearing loss began with the Eargo Neo HiFi, the graduated to the Eargo 5, and now has culminated in the new Eargo 6. The Neo HiFi totally impressed me, and then the Eargo 5 completely blew me away. Hard to imagine anything better than the Eargo 5, but the Eargo 6 changed the game again. We, who suffer from various degrees of hearing loss would love to have the natural hearing capability of our youth back again. Hearing is dynamic, but many times hearing assist devices are not. Eargo 6 has now put me one step closer to that youthful, dynamic hearing experience with its sound adjust feature. Yes, you can still store four hearing profiles in its four program areas and change them manually, but with the hearing assist feature turned on the Eargo 6 device determines what kind of environment you are in and automatically adjusts itself to drown out unwanted background noise and accentuate the part that I consider most important - the ability to hear and discern human speech in a variety of environments. This, to me, represents an amazing evolution in hearing assist technology. Hearing is much more natural now and the less I have to manually change settings in my devices the more I forget I even have them in. I also love the fact the no one knows I am wearing hearing aids as they are completely immersed in my ear canal. Eargo 6 is an amazing technology and one I'm grateful for. We often hear that quality of life is so very important. Proper hearing is an important component and Eargo 6 has clearly improved the quality of my hearing life which, in turn, enhances the overall quality of my life. Thank you Eargo. I must have gone through a dozen different hearing aides before I stumbled upon Eargo. Best thing since sliced bread. Bottom line, I don’t feel like I’m talking underwater. The customer service is excellent and the product is wonderful and fully supported. All around 10 in my book.

The product is of quality. I found the Eargo aids easy to place in my ears and comfortable after the first couple of days of getting used to them. Agents were helpful, knowledgeable, cordialand patient in answering my questions.

I am very pleased with my purchase of Eargo hearing aids. They are in the ear and are true hearing devices not just amplifiers. I am most pleased with the hearing professionals. No need to travel to an office for an adjustment. Just request a call and set up a meeting. I sing on the praise team at my church. I was having trouble hearing the tenor part in our songs. My hearing professional sent me a configuration to use. It was sent to my phone and I updated my Eargo’s when I placed them in the charger. So easy! wonderful not having to take half a day with a scheduled office visit. Using the music configuration I now can hear the tenor part and staying on pitch is a breeze compared to before wearing Eargos. Thank you Eargo!

I have been really impressed with the Eargo 6. I love the fact that they are almost invisible, very comfortable and I can hear so much better. I also like the different programs and the water resistance. I previously had behind the ear hearing aids and the Eargo 6 works so much better. I always felt self conscious and a little embarrassed to wear the old ones because I felt like I was just broadcasting that I can’t hear. They were much more uncomfortable when wearing a mask or sunglasses and the mask always snagged on them and pulled them out.

I'm 48 years-old. I have needed hearing aids for quite some time but was put off by previous cost estimates and the cumbersome size of older models. I chose Eargo 6 because of the lowered entry point on cost and the low profile of the model. My quality of life has significantly improved. Before Eargo 6, I had a pair of hearing aids with the clumsy “behind-the-ear” plastic unit, the uncomfortable clear wire that goes over the ear and connects to the clear rubber piece that “fits” in the ear canal. I was quickly disappointed with the overall lack of performance, the visibility factor, and the hearing aids being pulled off of my ears and falling when I removed a face mask. Above all, the poor quality of hearing or the ability to adjust for background noise, etc..And there was no phone App, so there was no noise filter, no ability to adjust the volume or programs - as is easily done with the Eargo 6. I couldn’t be more pleased with the performance, adjustment ability, rechargeability, invisibility, and overall comfort of the Eargo 6.Tthe support provided is phenomenal. I can’t recommend a hearing aid more highly.
