Some quirks
Need to Include a more detailed owners guide and also include additional directions about the YouTube support videos. The guide for Eargo 6 in box isn’t the same as one on Eargo’s website. I app doesn’t always work when changing volume in one or both hearing devices. The support rep then told me if you don’t hear a beep in both you have to adjust separately. That defeats purpose of using center symbol for adjustments. Another quirk is “Charger Not Connected”. Made me think I would have to have charger with me at all times. Ask the tech and she said don’t worry about it unless you make program changes that need to update hearing devices.

Just wishing I had purchased them originally
I’m very pleased with my Eargo 6s, just wishing I had purchased them originally. Even though retired, I still enjoy teaching Defensive Driving classes and Driver’s Ed at the National Safety Council, therefore, really appreciate the ability to “customize" my hearing programs with my phone app. By the way, prior to retiring, I was a Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist with a large national company, however, I decided to purchase Eargos. And, I am so thankful for the professional and friendly service that has always been offered to me.

Care given by my technical clinician Audiologist Patrick! Very patient and helpful kindness. They are remarkable
I have been using Eargo products for over a year now and I must say that they are remarkable. When I received the Eargo 5 units i immediately started hearing things that I have been missing for many years. But the new Eargo 6 devices have taken it to a new level. When I took them out of the box, I placed them in and suddenly noticed an improvement to hear in difficult environments. I was all set to do the Sound Match setup and to my surprise it was not necessary. I like the fact that the preset programs make it easy for the end user. I also like that the presets actually are adjusting the gain control which allows me to increase the gain if I feel that the volume is just not high enough. Currently, I start me day with program 1 and if I find it difficult hearing people I simply move to program 2 or higher. These new units automatically adjust to the environment unlike the Eargo 5 units that I previously used where I had the presets set for normal, restaurant, TV, and phone. I find that not having to select a program for these different environments makes the Eargo 6 more user friendly and natural as I move form room to room. I want to thank you and everyone at Eargo for your continued support as you change the lives of many. I have shared my experience with many of my friends and colleagues and I'm sure that those that I have spoken to will definitely consider your product over other brands due to my excitement and personal experience.

I have nothing but good things to say about both your product and customer support system. You have it all together, making the online experience easy and very supportive. I tried the Signia hearing aids first and found them too expensive, bulky and uncomfortable. The in person support service was unsatisfactory. I returned them after 2 weeks. I had a little trouble at first getting used to the Eargos, but the encouragement and helpful hints from my Eargo audiologist got me over the hump and now they are comfortable and very effective. I’m a very satisfied customer and especially happy that the Eargos are half the cost of the other ones I tried, definitely a superior product.

I was happy to find out that as-long-as I took them out and completely dried them off it did not cause any issues. I recently upgraded to the Eargo 6 because I was impressed by the additional features. I have now had them for several months and they completely exceed my highest expectations. I have recommended them several people who have other hearing aids. Most of them did not even realize I wear the Eargo’s, since they are so small. Please keep up the great work. A loyal Long-term fan.

I am experiencing all of the incredible advantages of the hearing aid , Eargo 6 ! I put off getting a hearing aid after hearing the upsetting experiences of people that wore them! The squealing noise and piercing static ! I have not had one day of upsetting experience. With my Eargo 6 hearing aids! For the first three weeks, I referred to them as earrings! 9 out of 10 is very good. Remember, perfect is the enemy of good. Some accessories that would be nice. ‘tether’ to join the two behind my head. Harder to lose both than one. Smaller, hard case not for charging. Sometimes you need to remove them perhaps temporarily but this is worrisome as they are small, black and easy to lose.

Surprised by the comfort, performance and support
I have been very pleasantly surprised by the comfort, performance and support I've had during my first month with the Eargo 6. While I have never worn hearing aids before, I am sufficiently vain enough to know that I only really wanted to wear a device that was virtually invisible. When I received them, I initially informed only a few of those closest to me that I was wearing them. Needing to wear a hearing aid doesn't bother me any more than wearing glasses/contact lenses and I've been doing that for over 50 years, but I wanted to get a sense of the "before and after" without any confirmation bias affecting my opinion. Most of my problems occur in crowded situations (bowling alley, restaurants) and I really like the ability to tailor the Eargo to allow me to hear conversations that were problematic. One particular friend of mine (Dan) has a voice which is mostly lower frequencies to begin with, so hearing him while bowling was a recurring problem. I'm happy to say that I can hear Dan much more clearly this year. When I confided in him that I was now wearing the Eargo, he asked me to share that info with two similarly-aged teammates who also have trouble hearing him! Most of the adjustment has been reconditioning my ears to the new frequencies that I haven't been hearing in years. Suffice to say, I'm very happy with the Eargo 6.

I have been very pleasantly surprised by the comfort, performance and support I've had during my first month with the Eargo 6. I have nothing but positives to say about my relationship with Eargo. I love the product and its quality as much as I love its size. Or maybe the opposite is true? Either way, it’s easy to deal with it’s very effective. I don’t have anything negative to say about it, the experience or the support that I received.

Small, comfortable and undetected in your ears
The Eargo hearing aids work great. Michelle adjusted some settings for me and so far it is a great improvement. I like how you can change the programs while they are in your ears. They are small, comfortable and undetected in your ears for the most part. So far, I love them. I didn't want anything behind my ear especially since I wear glasses, and while still having to wear a mask sometimes, I just can't make changes on the app with my phone.

In 2015, I went to an audiologist in our insurance group as it seemed I had a some hearing loss. I ended up with a high end pair of “over the ear” hearing aids. They were satisfactory but frustrating in many ways. I didn’t like that I burned thru batteries like crazy and I especially did not like that they went over my ears. I always was catching the conversation from the folks behind me in restaurants, could never hear in restaurants, and was flipping them off my ears when I took off my sunglasses, they didn’t seem to work that well for me. I found Eargo’s online. This is my 2nd pair, I started with pair of Eargo 5’s and they were really good, whenever I had a problem, your company was there to take care of an issue. I really like the Bluetooth connection option with the Eargo 6’s.They are nice upgrade from the 5’s. I feel reassured knowing they are much more water tolerant, in case I forget and wear them in a shower of get caught in the rain. The phases work great and being able to simply switch phases with an app is awesome. I especially like the recharging feature of my Eargo’s, it is so much better than buying batteries that die in less than a week. I have recommended Eargo’s to several other friends and will continue to do so. I am very pleased with the product and look forward to being a constant customer and Eargo user.

Better than advertised
All of the employees are great and every helpful. The hearing aids are better then all of your advertisements, and they are a great bargain. The best is that they are made in the USA not from China like so may others

Eargo offers the best solution in the market
The Eargo 6s are my third set of Eargos and while the improvements between the original ones and Neo HiFis were modest, the 6s are a game changer on basically all fronts. I wear the 6s from the moment I am out of the shower in the morning until bedtime, they are so comfortable I really DO forget I have them on. Battery life is SUPERB. The open and closed “petals” are WAY more comfortable than the prior earpieces. The app, while it can be improved, is very very good. I really appreciate being able to set to “meeting” or “restaurant” without the head-slapping of prior years. The updating feature is great and when the audiologist tweaked my settings after my feedback it was noticeably better. And the low filter is super handy in certain circumstances.Thrilled with my Eargo 6s and my thanks to everyone at Eargo for really raising the bar. I recommend Eargo to EVERYONE but, sadly, most of those folks are men in my age bracket who are in total denial about their obvious hearing loss! The market for Eargo is VAST, the humor marketing approach you have used over the years is brilliant…but people need to let go of the stigma associated with hearing aids. IMHO, Eargo offers the best solution in the market for anyone with high-frequency hearing loss who, like me, absolutely needs a very discreet solutions.

I was hesitant to buy devices via the internet but I was reassured by my first contact with Eargo. All of my questions we answered and my rep sent me devices to try as I watched the videos on use and care that were provided. I was also reassured by the 45 day trial period. After my purchase, I received a call from a hearing professional who spent over an hour helping me get set up with the app and answering all my questions. While I am totally deaf in one ear, it is not possible to buy just one device as they only come in pairs.That’s not really a problem as I just switch from one to another daily, cleaning one while using the other. All in all, I am very satisfied with my Eargo experience from the support to the performance and I continue to hear things I haven’t heard in quite a while. Thanks for your product.
