The system I purchased was the Genesis 2 Duo Platinum. The pre-sale support was amazing! As many others this was my first time buying a water softener… This brand was suggested by my brother, so I did some research and still has some questions so I picked up the phone and gave them a call. The lady who answer the phone was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She you offered to call the town. I love to learn our water hardness, and any other contaminant to properly suggest what water softener I should order she did just that and followed up with an email. The order process was fairly simple through their website. I also ordered the sediment filter and the quick connect for easy installation. I did come about an issue when trying to connect the bypass valve to the control valve. Once I was unable to figure out what what’s going on again picked up the phone and reached out to their support team. They ask for a couple of pictures and videos to be sent via text message. I did just that for a couple of days. Unfortunately we weren’t getting anywhere as far as getting the issue resolved, so I looked up on their website and saw that the bypass valve was only $40. I went ahead and order one of the valves and upon receiving it I was able to install it and quickly fix the issue. I then turn around and shipped (freight paid at my expense) for them to validate the valve was effective to refund the money based on being covered by warranty. I was done notify that the turbine inside of the valve had moved and was preventing the bypass valve from seating correctly, and because of it, it was not covered under warranty… I I then mention that me as a customer would expect the system to work as advertise and for me not to have to troubleshoot a brand new piece of equipment. I’m still waiting to hear of what I could have done differently in order to be able to complete installation and be able to use the system. Unfortunately this leaves a very sour taste and a very uncertain feeling...

Not worth the money

This product is great, avoided replacing water softener, we have a well made unit. Suddenly water flow was decreased considerably. Replacing resin did the trick, avoiding a new softener, saving several thousands of dollars.
