Fit great on my tire changer, plug and play

Much better over the standard cones. With cones I was getting . 75 to 1. 5 oz differences when rotating the wheel tire assembly 90 and 180 degrees. With the Collette’s less than . 2oz. Very much recommended.

This is a very nice lift. I love that it goes extra high so I can stand straight while working on anytihing. The pedal is excelent compared to what I have heard about other brands. The only thing that could be better is the ramp could be longer because lower bikes bottom out. I am building a longer one because they do not offer one for sale. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

We have a small private shop that does some old car restoration and medium size trailer repairs. We needed a tire changer due to the inconvenience of local tire shops, including the waiting rooms, lack of concern for expensive wheels, and ever increasing pricing for their services. That being said, we looked into affordable priced tire changers and found that the W-898XP had the best quality and features when compared to the others. What stood out on the Derek Weaver changer was the wide range of rim sizes, the included rim protection, a super powerful bead breaker, and a built-in bead blaster. Most of all, we called Derek Weaver Sales and a real and knowledgeable person answered the phone taking the time to answer our questions. Thank you! This machine was delivered in a few days to our shop. Unloaded with a fork lift and set up ready to change tires in about 45 minutes. The majority of the machine was set up and adjusted at the factory. The oiler on the air line already had oil installed. So far, we have dismounted and mounted 14"passenger, 15"passenger, 16"heavy duty trailer, 17"dually rims with no problem. Bead breaker is very strong. We are really happy with the changer so far. Should hold up very well for our purposes for many years. It appears to be very sturdy. The other good thing about Derek Weaver is that if anything does wear out or break, they stock it on the shelf.
