Leider war eine Kunststoffabdeckung nicht richtig verrastet. Dadurch hat sich ein unansehnlicher Spalt gebildet. Nach Reklamation gab es eine Demontageanleitung für die Sitzschale und für die Kunststoffabdeckung, mit der mit kleinem technischen Sachverstand eine Selbstreparatur möglich war. Ansonsten ist das Produkt dem Preis entsprechend sehr gut.
Zustellung extrem unverlässlich. es brauchte 4 Anläufe und dauerte 2 Monate. Der Lieferant gibt Telefonnummer an die es nicht gibt! Sowohl im Impressum als auch im den Mails. Eine Kathastrophe!
Der Stuhl fühlt sich sehr billig an. Er ist nicht wirklich bequem. Die Kunststoffrollen sind von minderer Qualität, wie bei Ikea. Die verstellbare Lendenwirbelstütze fühlt sich nicht gut an. Die Armlehnen könnten höher sein, sie sind etwas zu niedrig für größere Personen. Für 300 Euro könnte es ein schöner Stuhl sein.
Der Stuhl war perfekt verpackt (in einem riesigen Karton fast fertig vormontiert). Die Anschließende Montage dauerte eine Minute.
Großartiger Stuhl! Super bequem, man sitzt gleichzeitig entspannt und aktiv. Danke auch für die Kombination aus Komfort und schönem, unaufdringlichem Design. Liebe auf den ersten Sitz trifft es vielleicht am besten. Nur der Versand war etwas holprig, die Vorankündigung am Freitag Nachmittag für die Lieferung am kommende Montag (ohne Möglichkeit für einen anderen Liefertermin) ist für Berufstätige eine Herausforderung. :) Ansonsten alles super, vielen Dank.
Die Einstellbarkeit der Kopfstütze könnte besser sein, die Materialqualität insbesondere der Armlehnen könnte besser sein
It is definitely a bwry good chair. The control for the back, the leaning hardness, is a bit challenging to configure, not enough feedback from the knob, where does it start where does it end. A second set of wheels or the option at least to pick hard or soft flooring would be better. The telescopic element is too close to the floor for my taste. Don't see any reason why it couldn't be 5 centimeters higher.
Erstklassige und rasche Abwicklung. Auch die Koordination bei der Lieferung war erstklassig.

I never added 5 stars more happily than now. I have bought Leap chair 7-8 years ago back when I was living in Montenegro. I needed ergonomic chair due to my back issues, and I came across Steelcase. I was very happy with it, quality wise and my back felt better. Few years later I bought Ology standing desk too, as I was very happy with chair durability. That would already be enough for 5 stars, but here is more: - I accidentally broke position button on the desc with my knee. I contacted Montenegrin office to buy a new one, and they just gave it to me with no charge. - When I moved to Germany, my arm rests on the chair got damaged during transport. So I contacted Steelcase in Germany to check where I can buy them. I will repeat that chair is 8 years old. They just asked for my address and sent me new ones, with not charge. Carrying about your customers that much is quite rare in my experience, so I am very much happy to compliment both their products, and their customer care. Will b uy my next thing from Steelcase for sure.
Knarzende Rückenlehne kurz nach erster Verwendung. Problem bleibt bis heute bestehen. Armlehnen sind im Vergleich zu älteren Modellen schlechter verarbeitet, haben sehr viel Spiel.

delivery status after purchase wasn't clear, and it took a while with no updates, but delivery was good and the chair came in a huge box pre-assembled (extra points for this)
One crucual piece of an order was missing which resulted in overall waiting time of 2 months before I will get to use my chair. I would’ve given 1 start, but bumping it to 3 because I got a partial refund
Great product, communication not so much. I am really happy with the chair I bought at steelcase. The customer experience from ordering till arrival, however, was not great. I fully expected that the delivery of my order would take a while, that was clear from the moment i ordered on the site. The communication about the different steps in the production and logistics process was completely insufficient. I received a message saying my order was shipped a day after ordering, which could not be the case since the product would be "custom made for me". After that, complete silence untill a couple of weeks after that. that message only contained a title saying i should be a littel more patient. 2 weeks later i contacted steelcase myself, not knowing the current status, and a day after that i got contacted by the delivery company. This is something that i think can be and should be improved.
I placed an order on October 23rd, the estimated delivery date was indicated to be “as stated in the website”, which was up to 3 weeks. A month has passed, I had to contact myself support to ask when my order would be delivered. They indicate me between 18-19 November. It was not delivered and I received no contact from them or the courier. It is astounding a premium product has this support. After reading here other experiences I am considering cancelling my order, this is not going to end well. Update: the order was further delayed, however it was finally delivered. The product itself is very good, but I can't give 5 starts when the delivery has no tracking, takes a month and a half, there are no clear deadlines when ordering, and once they give you a date it is not respected. Furthermore, it doesn't say it anywhere but without lift they won't deliver the product to your door.
I’ve been waiting for my Steelcase Gesture chair since September 18th. The delivery experience has been incredibly frustrating, primarily due to the delivery company, VIR by JP, which has been unprofessional and unreliable. When they first attempted delivery on October 9th, they refused to bring the chair up to my apartment, expecting me to retrieve it directly from the truck on the street, which I declined. Since then, I’ve been in touch with Steelcase, and while they have tried to help, the issue remains unresolved. After a month of back-and-forth, I finally agreed to pick up the chair from the truck, and we scheduled delivery for October 28th. I even took a day off work to be available. However, on that day, the delivery company called, asking me to prepare my chair for pickup, mistakenly thinking I was returning it instead of waiting for its initial delivery. Frustrated, I contacted Steelcase again, and we rescheduled for November 5th. Today, November 4th, I was informed that the delivery had been postponed once more to November 8th. I genuinely appreciate Steelcase's products, but until they address these issues with their delivery partner, I will not consider future purchases. Their support team has tried to assist, but communication has been slow, and ultimately, they’ve been unable to effectively manage this delivery company. If you want to avoid waiting months for a product, I would strongly advise reconsidering any purchase from Steelcase.
They chose to partner with the worst courrier I have ever encountered. They send you an SMS that your delivery can be planned with a link that doesn’t work. Then you have to call them by yourselves and the answer you get is “yeahh maybe we can deliver next week, but probably not”. I then asked Steelcase to cancel and refund my order, which they did very quickly. Unfortunately, the delivery company never seemed to understand the cancellation because they came to my doorstep 3 times and sent me an SMS every day to “pick up my return”. I have nothing to pick up because it was never delivered in the first place. I understand that this is not Steelcase’s doing, but they are the ones that chose to partner with this delivery company so they are in my opinion still responsible for it.
