I have the 8x10 gambrel chicken coop barn. I just finished putting it together and installing the roof. It seems to be of good quality but I do have 2 problems. 1) I was told it would take 2-4 weeks for delivery and it took 6 weeks and I live just over 1 hour away from their facility. They did not call to let me know it was going to be longer than 4 weeks. I had to contact them 2) The instructions are not good. They are very vague and basic. It seems like they are instructions for all of the barns/coops regardless of model or size. The hardware list did not match what was in the box(nails& screws). They didn't list how many nails or screws per section or how far apart to put them. Sometimes the pictures didn't match the instructions( the picture has a guy with a drill but the instructions would say to use nails). Better more detailed instructions would be great along with a video showing someone putting it together. With that being said, I did call them a few times and ever time I called I spoke with a live person immediately who was very nice and answered alll my questions or connected me with the right person. Some of the calls were about assembly and the person answered my questions and was very helpful. I would recommend buying from this company

I'm very excited to welcome my preschoolers back this fall to play in our new schoolhouse, which is perfectly proportioned to their size! Assembly was not too difficult, but if you have no background in DIY building projects, there might be some tricky parts. It took 2 of us about 6 hours to put the playhouse together. We were able to have the project completed--assembled, painted, shingled, and the bell installed--in about 3 1/2 days. We're still troubleshooting the bell. . . . it doesn't like to return to position after being rung and I wonder if the handle is a bit too heavy and causing the bell to be pulled off center when hanging. It shouldn't be too difficult to solve. Delivery was a cinch and the panels were solid and well-constructed. We have remodeled multiple homes and my husband has a lot of experience with building and he was very impressed with the quality of the product. The instructions were generally easy to follow, but there were a few parts that implied steps that weren't spelled out. Again, if you have a little bit of building experience, you'll likely figure it out, but I'm sure a call to the office could get you some help as well. The only criticism I have is that the website gives an estimate of 2-4 weeks for delivery. Ours took 8. 5 weeks to get here and there was zero communication on their end--I had to reach out every couple of weeks for status updates. I wish they'd at least let us know about the delays.

Assembling our 8x10 chicken coop has been so easy. All of the pieces are cut and labeled, and there are even marks at the correct measurements where pieces join. I’ve never built anything this complex before, but the kit has made it very simple. Our chickens are happy with the extra space and new nesting boxes.

Very easy to order, quality chicken coop, and great value! The shipping was outstanding and everything arrived well packaged and they set the pallet where I had requested it. I am very happy with the pre-cut coop as it saves a lot of time assembling.

We did the 4x6 cape cod cottage with a deck and I am in love! It is every little girls dream playhouse. (We opted to put the flower boxes off of the deck railing for extra space on the deck and to make them more visible) The quality of the materials is top notch and very sturdy. My husband was impressed with everything. He is very handy and I think that did help tremendously because it is not a small project. This playhouse is a statement piece of our lake house and I can’t recommend this company enough! We used a flat white and BM Sweet Taffy for the pink. Our shingles are Timberline “Fox Hollow”

We are very pleased with everything from shipping to Little Cottage CO’s responsiveness to our questions to our actual construction of this Craftsman playhouse. Everything turned out perfectly!

The delivery process was great, the freight company did all the work, took off the pallet from the truck and put it where we asked. The shed was packed good, no damage and all parts intact. Shed went together easy and instructions were easy to follow. We made a few changes to the build to fit our needs. The final product came out great and we are very happy with the Shed. We haven't painted it yet but will get that done soon. We added a barrel bolt to the bottom of the doors for extra protection. And we added collar pieces for extra strength for winter snow.

Spent 5 days with my dad building this thing. Instructions were generally informative and wood delivered was straight. More than enough hardware for everything. For a first time builder this came together well

Chicken coop arrived within set timeframe and no issues whatsoever. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to start their flock.

Arrived on a pallet on Tuesday, in the rain. I unpacked it all into the garage and spent Tuesday and Wednesday painting the pieces. Thursday we started construction. Me, 65 yo female and my 6’2” “son”. Finished the floor and Walls on day 1. Added the roof and window on Friday. (Neither of us had ever used asphalt shingles, that was fun). Put in the roost (added an extra 2x4 roost up higher), nesting boxes, added a solar powered chicken door and solar lighting, then put on the people door. By Saturday noon the adolescent chickens were in the coop. 2 1/2 days for 2 people. Highly recommend using a framing nailer, I would have died driving all those 3” nails by hand. End result is absolutely fantastic. Could not be happier!

Awesome DIY shed build. All pre-cut lumber is marked and lines up great. Instructions are straight forward. the entire structure is plumb and square with little effort. Nice quality.
