Great flooring love the color

The order was easy. Never talked to anyone though.

We love working with Build Direct. Fourth time going through them. Will always come here first before shopping around.

I started working with BuildDirect back in January while trying to track down a specific Tropical flooring product. Because the supply was limited and the SKU numbers were difficult to match, I had a sample sent first to make sure I was ordering the right material. After confirming the product multiple times, I placed the order in May and coordinated with my local installer, Select Flooring, for a June installation. The flooring was delivered to my installer’s warehouse, acclimated for five days, and then — on installation day, after the old flooring had already been removed — my installer opened the boxes and discovered that the wrong flooring had been sent. That could have turned into a frustrating round of finger-pointing, but my BuildDirect sales representative, Mila, took responsibility right away and went straight to work fixing the issue. She helped schedule the return, identify where to source the correct flooring, and expedite delivery so that the return and replacement flooring were handled within about 48 hours of the mistake being discovered. Was I disappointed that my installation was delayed by a week? Absolutely. But mistakes happen, and what matters most is how a company responds when they do. In this case, there was no blame game, no hiding behind corporate policy, and no endless runaround. Mila and the BuildDirect team focused on making it right and meeting the customer’s needs. In a time when customer service is increasingly being replaced by bots and automated responses, I was genuinely grateful to have a real human on the other end of the line. I can accept a human mistake when it is followed by accountability, urgency, and care. BuildDirect made an error, but Mila’s response turned a very stressful situation into a service experience I could still appreciate.

We received our samples quickly and our favorites by far were from Build Direct. We decided to use a Build Direct tile for our new bathroom floor. Mila sent us a quote almost immediately and we were able to get the order in right away.

We worked with Justine from BuildDirect to select the proper flooring to put down in our kitchen, which must be waterproof. She forwarded many appropriate choices online and fedexed actual samples which allowed us to choose the best vinyl plank click install which met our style, color and technical criteria. Justine was so helpful, professional and followed through on every aspect of the transaction, including the truck shipment to New York City without any issues. We also got a good deal and stayed within budget. I highly recommend BuildDirect and especially Justine Kelly and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

The flooring does not disappoint, it is just as great as it was online. As having it in person, my rap Nelson was excellent spent. Many hours with me going over product sending me samples and at the end helped me decide the best flooring that was for me. He was both knowledgeable and very easy to work with great suggestions on moving forward with the flooring. I was very happy to have work with him. And to get the flooring at a better pricing than was listed online. I will definitely be purchasing again. And I will tell all my friends of the great service

Third time to order from Build Direct of the same item to floor my entire home. Blended nicely over a span of a few years. Strong product, quickly laid, quality finish, easy to maintain. If I had more square footage, I'd probably buy more.

Every sample I ordered meets my expectations-beautiful colors-great texture-Im trying to decide which one is my favorite but I really like them all!

Justine was a delight to work with. We could not be more pleased with her and how she responded when it looked like from the label on the box that we would need more wood than we ordered. She immediately sent extra boxes. As it turned out we did end up with extra boxes. We were willing to pay for the unused boxes but Justine said it was a mistake on the distributor and were free and clear and did not owe anything. Thanks Justine and the Builder Direct Team.

gritty feeling. This one feels great and is reasonably priced. This vinyl plank flooring is perfect for what I have in mind.
