I ordered the Bazuin Dark Night Salvia which is a bear root item. When the plants arrived the roots were not even damp. I went ahead and planted them anyway to see if they could be saved. I have kept the planting area watered, however they are not growing. It was obvious that the packaging was not adequate for the job.

1. Part of my order placed 5/30/26 was canceled on 6/22/26. The plants were out of stock. Why did it take 23 days to discover the lack of inventory. Not good! 2. The cancellation notice did not quote the amount being returned to my charge card. When I called, they told me the incorrect amount. Not good! 3. During the phone call, I was ‘disconnected’, and no one called me back. Not good!!!

I have a problem with Breck's Bulbs and their catalogs. I have a problem. . . buying things when I am not supposed to be buying anything. Just like potato chips, it's hard to resist

Good selection, but quality inconsistent. Every order has some dead items. I have had about 30% success rate with Breck’s overall. Iris rhizomes arrive dry and shriveled — 1 of 3 viable. Of 5 siberians ordered, only 4 received, 1 survived. Have had better luck with dahlia tubers.

Breck's has been a favorite place for some flowers I really like for many years. We used to live in Albuquerque, NM until 1998. i had been ordering from there for at last 10 or 12 years before we moved. once we settled in Oklahoma I was looking for Breck's again. Overall I prefer the catalog and using checks, but sometimes I do make orders on-line. Breck's has provided me with many beautiful daffodils, tulips, daylilies, and lilies. a good company to do business with.

Good website but you send me code for free shipping but when I use the code it sayes its applicable but I cannot use it. Wont say why not so I end up paying $15 dollars worth of shipping charges that I could have used to buy more bulbs! If you dont intend to make good on your codes why give them ? Dont know if I will be back.

I would have liked to order more but most were already sold out. When is the best time to order to get the selections you want most? But the bulbs I have ordered in the past have been beautiful. I will continue to order from brecks.

My mom when she was alive always bought her bulbs from Breck's. They are high-quality bulbs. Never disappointed. So, when I built my first home in 1997, I started buying from Breck's as well. They are my go-to for my yard. I live in North Idaho, so these are perfect for my garden, whatever species of bulbs I plant.
