Easy to book

I booked last minute from El Zonte, El Salvador to Antigua, Guatemala and when I went to pay via Paypal, I agreed to 99. 00 US. That's what I was expecting to pay, converted to Canadian. When I went on Paypal later, it said it was now charged in Euros, which added $25-ish to my bill. I contacted Paypal, I contacted Bookaway. Both said talk to the other. I finally got a response from Bookaway that it was converted into my own currency, but I am not European, so being charged in EURO made no sense. Then I created a ticket with Paypal about it, and they came back with the same and closed the case. SO, word of warning, when you book, you might wind up paying more than you bargained for. It's not about the $25 either, it's them not taking accountability that bothers me.

Great service. They were fairly punctual with a 3-4 mins understandable difference. I would certainly travel with them again.

I booked a bus from Huaraz to Lima (Perù) with Allinbus company through Bookaway website, and in the ticket it was written that the boarding site was in Av. Pedro Avillon 130 which is another bus terminal. So i had to go there and hear the guys from the terminal saying to me that i had to walk 27 minutes more with heavy luggage and that this often happens if you book through third party websites, so look out for that.

Plan for longer travel times! 830 bus from San Jose didn't get to Tamarindo in 5 hours, it took 8. Coming back out was a bit better from 4pm (were supposed to leave at 3) to 10pm.

Price is reasonable. Need to be more punctual.

On time, comfy and great service on board

The ride with OceanJet was fast and safe. However, the BookaWay booking page charged us the full transportation fee for a third passenger — including a seat — even though our 8‑month‑old baby should have traveled for free. During the booking process, we were required to enter all names and dates of birth.

bus was on time and we made great time to our destination

Instead of a minivan it was a car, luckily our bags and the other guest fit. slightly late however we made it on time to Antigua so overall happy.
