I recently purchased a ring from Blue Nile and unfortunately had to initiate an exchange. While the ring itself is nice, the exchange process has been slow and poorly communicated. Throughout the process, I felt like I was chasing down answers. Communication from the Blue Nile team was sparse, and even after touchpoints, I still didn’t feel I had a clear understanding of how the exchange process worked or what to expect next. The process should be much better defined and more transparent. In the future, I would prefer to shop locally, where communication, accountability, and service feel more personal and clear. Overall, the product met expectations, but the customer experience did not.
When I bought my ring, the saleswoman assured me that I could exchange it if the size wasn't right for my husband. Indeed, the size was wrong, and when I tried to return it to exchange it, she never told me that instead of an exchange, I would have to return the ring and wait for a refund before buying a new one. Since I have to return to France, I still haven't received the refund, I haven't been able to buy a new ring, and you've missed out on a sale. What a shame.
Earrings i purchased for my wife for Xmas arrived broken. Both of them were in 2 pieces, with both of the loops that hold the gems to the rings broken. We returned them. Very disappointing will not be shopping at Blue Nile again. Never had such a thing happen before.
Ring was made smaller than ordered and I have not heard a reply for 6 days
Love my wedding band! Highly recommend Blue Nile. Customer service was also extremely helpful.

Ordered a gift for Christmas, never sent a tracking number. I found out the package was at UPS location the day it was returned had to track it down to get it back. Blue Nile offered no solution.
Good purchase process and customer service, but earrings broke within days of receiving…which was quite embarrassing for me as they were a gift. So as a first time customer I question Blue Nile quality.
Long time Blue Nile Customer. I ordered a couple of items for my wife that didn't work out. When I went to return one of the items - the most expensive one, the system said it was not returnable. I chatted a BN sales rep she said it's not returnable because it is a vault/final sale item. When I ordered it - it wasn't a final sale/vault item and I was within the return window. Ultimately the BN rep let me return it but this was not what I expected from BN. If I order an item that is returnable and then you change the status during my return window - it shouldn't affect my ability to return it. This is dishonest business behavior. I hope this just an honest mistake.
The earrings were very well received as a Christmas gift. The 5x7mm emerald set in yellow gold were of fantastic quality and workmanship. Thank you Blue Nile
All is gre as t expect for the backs of the earrings. One keeps falling off so I don't feel confident wearing all the brine because I'm scared to lose one.
