I’m very disappointed with my experience with Blue Nile. The ring was delivered significantly later than the timeline I was originally given in Dallas, and the shipping process with UPS was particularly frustrating. At one point, the package appeared to potentially be lost, which caused a great deal of unnecessary concern given the value and importance of the purchase. I expected Blue Nile to have a much more reliable process for handling and tracking high-value shipments, as well as more proactive communication when something went wrong. I eventually received the ring, but much later than promised. The product itself may be fine, but the overall purchasing and delivery experience did not meet the level of service I would expect from Blue Nile, especially for such an important and expensive purchase.

Bad customer service

The ring I purchased is beautiful. I get many compliments on it. I’m so glad I purchased it.

The necklace arrived tangled to the point where I was afraid it was going to break trying to untangle it. I’m extremely surprised that it passed QC before shipping like that. I ended up calling the call center and they told me I could either return it or take it to a jeweler to untangle and they didn’t care essentially. This is my fifth order with Blue Nile and I think I will explore other companies next time.
