I purchased a James Allen ring a few years ago and decided on a lab diamond. Total was just over $5000 Canadian. I never really wore the ring as the band was very thin and it would not stay in place. I decided to sell the ring this year. I was told that it was worth anywhere from $200-$1500 (Consignment- so I would only get a portion of that) This is SHOCKING when I payed so much. I got ahold of James Allen and they basically said too bad and "they stand by their jewelry" and offered to upgrade me. . . basically wanting more money. Seriously? So now I have a worthless ring that cost $5000. . . a total waste of money. DO NOT BUY LAB DIAMONDS AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Never Again! I bought 3 ct lab grown diamonds. My husband surprised me with earrings so as I got back in CA (the store where I bought them) I returned them. Never out of the box, in the original bag, all the paperwork. Easy returnS???? NOPE. they give me a piece of paper you cant even read, they send you out of the store and ship them from CA to NYC for inspection. No confirmation email your return is being processed. How ridiculous they cant do this in the store. Now I wait weeks. . .

My husband bought my engagement ring from Blue Nile. After we set our wedding date, we ordered a wedding band I thought I would like. Once it came in, I decided I did not like the round diamond band with my emerald cut engagement ring. We sent it back (within the policy date) and ordered an equivalent band with emerald cut diamonds instead. We got a email stating our ring refund will not be accepted. We called them and got more detail why, and told them it wasn’t “worn” and we just tried it on to see if I liked it and didn’t, so we sent it back and ordered another through them. They told us they would “further reviewed it” to see if we can get refunded and if not canceled our other ring. After two weeks, we got an email stating our new emerald band shipped. Within an hour we got a message stating they will continued with no refund for the original wedding band. Honestly nervous to get the new one in the mail because, I will need to send it back and request a refund, I don’t need two wedding bands(not even going to take it out of the box and video it all so I don’t get scammed). Super frustrating, I do not recommend
