I am grateful you let us know about the recall and that you were willing to replace the curling iron. This was a very very long process to get it replaced. We were told to stop using the curling iron and wait for instructions. That took a few weeks. Then we had to cut off the plug to send it in. It took a long time to get the shipping label and instructions to return the plug for proof. from that time until I receive my new curling iron was 3 months! It was very frustrating considering I am a cosmetologist and I use this curling iron in my daily profession. I was needing to go buy a different curling iron to get by, but didn't want to spend the money since I had already spent so much on this one. I also had sold this curling iron retail to customers. They are having the same problem getting theirs replaced. I feel a better system should have been in place to get this replaced in a timely manner. It definitely makes me second guess whether I want to buy Bioionic products anymore.
