Employee far from helpful. I bought a 26R online for I think $99. He put a 26 on the counter and I started to leave with it. I stopped and told him I needed a 26R. He said that battery was $205.00...I was pretty sure I could make the 26 work for my application, so rather than argue I left. I will remember this the next time I need a battery and will be sure to tell all my friends. The employee made several mistakes during that ordeal, this was just the big one. After a while you catch on that getting a good employee is hard to do, so you work with what you have.

Ordered online for pickup at Aurora store, I offered to pick it up at the Littleton location after being told the battery wasn’t ready because of inventory issues at the store. Went to Littleton, they had the battery but told me I couldn’t get it unless I paid again, even though I paid to pick it up. Employee tells me to return in an hour to see what other options he might have with his manager. I go for a while, about an hour. I return after being called that the battery was ready, I just had to pay $2.07 for it for some reason. It wasn’t enough money for me to care about why I was paying for it so I went to the Littleton store again, which was ten minutes out of my way home, in Aurora. When I arrived, the Littleton employee told me that actually he was wrong and I couldn’t get the battery for $2.07 and suggested I drive to Aurora and return to Littleton with a document or something from the Aurora store. Please keep in mind, I live in Aurora and drove 35 minutes to Littleton. At this point I’ve spent about 3 hours on this ordeal, and it’s rush hour so it’s 50 minutes from the Littleton store to the Aurora store, so I decided to get a refund and did the next day (although I had to return to the Aurora store and use my debit card, I couldn’t be refunded over the phone for some reason). To be clear, Chad in the Aurora store was extraordinarily kind and helpful - he initially called the Littleton store in front of my eyes and explained what I was coming down for. He never suggested I go down there, I offered thinking it’d just take me an hour or so of driving. The guys in the Littleton location shouldn’t have given me such bad instruction but frankly they were both new and inexperienced. Their supervisors failed here, not the employees themselves.

On September 23, 2026, while traveling from Maine to an appointment on Cape Cod, my wouldn't start. Fortunately, I had a stick-shift and was parked on a hill, so I was able to jump start the car. I desperately searched online for something like, "battery installation near me now" and got the number for BatteriesPlus in Framingham, MA. After a brief call, where they verified they the battery in stock for my Boxster S, I went to their shop and was back on the road in less than an hour. They were friendly, competent, and motivated to get me back on the road without delay. They also did tests to verify my battery condition, and check the alternator output. They saved the day! A big thank you!
