We had a disappointing experience with American Weigh Scales. We ordered several scales for our facility, but the models we received did not match our operational needs and included a display limitation that made them unusable for production. When we reached out to resolve the issue, the support process was slow and unhelpful. Instead of offering a proper solution or exchange, they only proposed a small discount on future orders — which didn’t address the problem. Unfortunately, we won’t be ordering from them again and will be sourcing from another supplier moving forward.

These are great scales and have been around for a while and still work just like they always have.

Initial scale arrived with a defect. I contacted customer support with evidence video and they shipped me a replacement right away. Very appreciative!

The battery wount light up

After 3 weeks, I'm still waiting for part of my order. After ordering the scale, I realized I needed a calibration weight and ordered it the next day. The scale arrived in about a week. But the calibration weight--ordered May 30--still has not arrived.

I could not find the country of origin for my scale. I have had problems with about every recent scale purchase. The scales are eradic. So I wanted scales that were not manufactured in China. The name AWS is a bit misleading. It looks like some type of standards association but is probably not. I have not used the kitchen scales that I bought yet.
